  • Protect my piano
We live in a very dry climate and I’ve used this for years.

  • Keeps the pads lasting all year
Make sure you include this solution every time you refill your Dampp-chaser system, and your pads only need to be changed once a year on average. I have been using this solution for years and I’ve never had a problem.

  • Pad Treatment works well!
This is recommended by my Piano Tuner. It came quickly and works well.

  • Does what it does but smaller size, higher price
I’ve had a damp chaser on my Bechstein-Hoffman since 2001. It’s convenient to get this from Amazon. Price has gone up. Quantity down.

  • Exactly what I ordered, but a bit slow in arriving
It is what we need for the church piano. However, as I stated in the headline, it was a bit slow to deliver. However, in these covid times that does occur. I did make sure that I ordered before the piano was parched. Generally, good stuff.

  • recommended by installer
My old Dampp-Chaser of 25 or so years died last year. It really kept my piano in good shape, so I decided to replace it (costly thing that it was). Installer recommended I continue with distilled water, but to add a capful of this stuff to each bucket when I refill. BTW: Dampp-Chaser is an excellent product. After the new unit was installed, I had a complete thorough cleaning and tuning of my Kawai small grand, and it sounds bee-oo-tee-ful! Come to think of it, piano is probably closer to 28+ years, since I bought it used at 1-2 years old and had the D-C put in at that time (not knowing a thing about it, although I did add water when needed). 28 years is considered old for a piano. But my baby still sounds great. ... show more

  • Works well
If you are like me, your piano is a personal joy as well as a large investment. The product is very good. It is easy to use and has kept my piano from drying out in a very arid setting . I have never had trouble with mold or mineral buildup. The company that originally sold my piano, gave me a bottle and a strong recommendation. I would recommend it as well. ... show more

  • For $5 more I could have bought twice as much
I've used this for years, & it has helped keep my piano "healthy" through humid & dry spells. BUT I hadn't noticed this bottle is only 7.5 oz. For $5 more I could have bought a 16 oz bottle. Wish I had noticed that before purchasing it!
