I’ve been painting naturally for many years, these paint by number are a new experience for me and I love it. It’s quite difficult to cover up the lines and numbers and I find I must go over those areas several times. I do highly recommend these as a new project for anyone.

The pbn numbers are so small and font is hard to read. The kit stand did not have proper holes to assemble. The kit did not come with any paper key with numbers . Worst one I’ve bought so far!

This is a very affordable paint by number kit with a lot of good qualities! Everything is included to get started. I don't think it will quite look like the picture that is shown in the description, it seems it will be a bit a more Impressionist style than that picture. But, with time and careful painting, it will end up very nice. Some of the numbered spaces can be quite small, so it might be a challenge for younger children or adults whose hands tend to tremble. This can be a good paint kit for average and above average painters. I usually paint my own original paintings, but am finding a lot of enjoyment in working on this piece, it is the first paint by numbers I have worked on. I really like the picture is on something akin to an actual canvas and not that cheap board canvas. I can fold it to work on a smaller area and fold it up to store it. The paint isn't the best quality acrylics, but they will do and I recommend not thinning the paint or you will have to use more than one coat in an area. When the paint dries, it dries a bit more transparent than when wet. There are three brushes. I find i am using the smaller tipped ones far more than the bigger brush, which is itself a small width. This painting will take me some time to finish, but I'm not in a hurry when I work on it. I've only just begun, this is a pleasure project. ... show more

This comes as a perfect little compact kit, though that means you have to assemble the easel. I really love that there are three little brushes in different sizes, sometimes you need a really tiny brush when you're doing these, and they supply it for you. Wooohooo! On top of that, I love that they colored the painting very lightly for you. It gives you a good visual as you go, so you're not just searching for tiny little numbers all over the place, you can just look for the color overall. ... show more

This paint by number kit by Hudestail includes all the needed supplies to create a lovely painted picture. The picture is printed in muted colors with easy to identify numbers on the canvas. I find that the light colors on the canvas help aid my old eyes with filling in the painting areas. I do end up using my own paintbrushes as the included ones are low quality but do the job. The kit I ordered included a flat canvas rolled up. I find it helps to use blue painters tape to attach the canvas to a foam core board to aid in flattening out the canvas and painting on an even surface. The quantity of the paint looks small, but it can be thinned out with water as needed. I find that the amount supplied is adequate to complete the painting. ... show more
