I finally figured out that I needed to slide the strap into this metal opening so the buckle part was secured. Daughter was in a performance and needed to dress as someone from the 50’s. These worked perfect. Decently comfortable. She wears size 8 and ordered these in a size 8 and they were perfect. According to other reviews, I was afraid of the sizing, but were true to size with us.

These shoes are ok to wear a short while. They did hurt my feet. The buckle Is quite a weird buckle. I wore them to a wedding and couldn’t wait to get out of them.

    • Beautiful Classic Look but Painful to wear!
Size: 8 Color: Black/White
These shoes are adorable and the look is exactly what I want. Therefore I endure the pain while wearing them. These are not cushioned well for walking support, however the most pain comes from the sides of the foot. There is a narrowing that is strange, and exceptionally painful. I put cushions in the heel to pick up the extra spacing (little too big for me, but my size), and I could use cushions on he width part of my foot. I can not wear these long due to the hard interior squishing my foot. I have a narrow foot typically and this is weird for me to experience. The shoe is difficult to clip into, because it is a mock clip, you need to pull up on the elastic to help release the buckle clip (dancer shoes). I was a dancer so this isn't horrible for me, but I always found them challenging and these are just like that! Yes, you can adjust the strap to fit thickness of your foot. The buckle closure for these shoes is really strange- it’s like a hook on a bungee. I always have to get help to put them on because you need it to be tight or the shoes feel like they are going to fall off. I am a true 8 1/2 and due to no half sizes, I ordered a 9. They are too big. They are super cute tho and I always get compliments on them even though I’m not super happy with them ... show more

These shoes are adorable, the colors matched the pictures and the height was just right. I really wanted to keep them, however, had to return them, they did not fit. I ordered a single strap size 8.5 and a double strap size 9. I wear between a 8.5-9 in heels because I have a wide foot. The 8.5 fit in length but too narrow in the width.
