    • I think they forgot to varnish it properly!
This violin sounds ok in general but is very disappointing in the detail on the finish department. It looks like they just forgot to complete the varnish job! I was pretty put off by the unfinished look and the sloppiness of that, but it sounds fine and stays in tune. So it’s ok for now.
