I use this for my tall Paperwhites in the winter months. They're beautiful in this vase with a few rocks and marbles in the bottom for the roots to wrap around.

Inverted and covered with an opaque plastic liner, it has worked well to cover the lighting elements and protect from wind and rain. As advertised, solid high quality glass vase with a perfect shape. I use the 12in tall 6in diameter for my winter lily bulbs. My only complaint is they were packaged with a very excessive amount of plastic bubble wrap which all has to go to the landfill. I hope the manufacturers and packaging dept would consider earth friendly product such as biodegradable packing peanuts instead. ... show more

the vase feels very sturdy and it was packed extremely well, in a sturdy inner box with thick layers of bubble wrap. my local drivers have a habit of throwing packages at my house and this one survived! it's very simple and pretty and will do awesome to show off the roots of my golden pothos once I have enough substrate :) if you use LECA substrate for your plants, you'll need 4lbs of LECA to fill the container. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a beautiful glass vase, my use for it was to make a new rgb base for my fiber optic light. Sadly, my first vase came completely broken, but Amazon was quick to send me a new one and it was perfect. I had no trouble drilling a hole in the bottom with my diamond bit and as you can see, the bottom is quite thick. The vase does thin out in the middle as it is blown glass and this cannot be helped. But it is super sturdy and had no issue with me working all the Interstellar Grey Celestial Fire Glass down the sides. This thing is absolutely gorgeous and sadly, the pictures don't do it justice. I would say, as long as you don't hit it with something close to the middle, it will last forever. I could not have asked for anything better. ... show more

This hurricane vase arrived chipped at the bottom. (The packaging was fine.) The rim is etched and cut uneven. Don't waste your money. It is not worth it. Very poor quality item.
