These are really high-quality grips with a nice hand platform and upward curved end. Installation was easy, but with attention to detail of moving my Shimano brake and gearlevers to avoid getting the levers too close to the inner part of the grips. It is also important to find a nice alignment between brake lever position and your hand placement on the platform. Optimally, there should be minimal reach to the levers. I think that these grips are amazingly comfortable and really improve biking ergonomics by moving the rider back about 3cm, which makes for a straighter back and less upper extremity pain in the trapezius/neck. Formerly, I was plagued by intermittent hand numbness over the median nerve sensory pattern distribution, sort of like a carpal tunnel syndrome of biking. I did not experience hand numbness with these grips which made for a very pleasurable ride of 40km today. I really like these. They went on very easy, and both ends have a clamp operated by hex/allen that really locks them into position. My old grips tended to move and I was repositioning them several times each ride. These will stay in place, no doubt. They have a nice large grip area for your palm, and I had much less issues with numbness. We went 20 miles yesterday and that was just a very minor issue, not a big deal. Big improvement. Very nice feeling grips. I would give 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact that they look kinda dorky. My wife even said so when she first saw them on my bike. However, once she put her hands on them she had to admit that they did feel nice. I like that they give a few more positions for you to put your hands. My shoulders are now happier because of these grips. I purchased higher riser bars, but decided to try these grips on the current bars I had on , I love the color and didn’t want to really swap them out. I’m glad I did because I don’t t really need higher riser bars, I just needed a better more solid grip. I love that these aren’t squishy, but hard plastic. These grips are better then the stick grips I had. Lot more comfortable. Have not done a full ride but test runs say I will like these. They go in fairly simple. I did have to adjust my gear shifts as they were longer then old ones but 10 mins or less and they are installed.

These grips are vastly more comfortable and supportive than the cylinder type grips that came with my Mountain bike. They also have double locking screws and do not move at all. They look good too.
