Features

  • Room filling sound - 2.1 speakers with subwoofer deliver 80W peak power and 40W RMS. Enjoy music, movies, and games with crisp highs, warm mid-tones and deep, powerful bass from the ported 5.25 side-firing subwoofer and dual 2 satellite drivers. For the best sound fidelity, we recommend setting the volume on the source (computer, tablet, etc.) between 65-80% and then use the volume controls on the speaker system to raise and lower the volume.
  • Convenient control pod Adjust volume or bass levels to customize your sound just the way you want it. Easily accessible 3.5mm aux input allows for quick connection of a gaming system or tablet or smartphone with a 3.5mm audio connection. Speakers also feature a headphone jack for a private listening experience.
  • Versatile usage Speaker system works great as desktop computer speakers for PCs and Macs, or as PC speakers with any laptop. They are also great for gaming systems such as PS4, PS5, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch, tablets and smartphones with 3.5mm audio output or headphone jacks.
  • Attractive design Satellites feature classic cloth grills that can be removed for an open-face look. The compact subwoofer fits under most desks and in smaller spaces.

  • Great for the price.
I'm a junior-grade audiophile, I know what a "good" set of speakers really is, but I'm not a total snob about audio quality. I think these speakers, like most of the Cyber Acoustics range, provide exceptional value for the price and are of good enough quality even for someone with a fairly good set of ears. Pros: -Full "2.1" setup, with two satellite speakers and a woofer. Outside of some crazy artsy designs, this is minimum for real sound quality. -Good cord lengths. It should be easy to make this speaker set suit most spaces, and only one or two cords run to each part of the unit so you don't end up with a big mess of cords in any one spot. -Nifty control pod, basically an extra length of wire runs to a combination power switch, volume knob, bass control, and it even has two ports for input and output (or, aux in and headphones). This is present on most CA setups, and it's a neat idea that makes controlling your speakers or plugging in an mp3 player a snap. -Sound quality is probably 4/5 to a layperson's ear. It's not as "full" of a sound as a professional set of speakers, but it's loud enough to fill an average bedroom or apartment living room with cinematic sound. This is more than adequate for the price, and good enough for any budget home theater or computer desk. This is a true 5/5 when you consider value. Cons: -Only one bass control knob, and it's more like an equalizer. Some sound systems come with a pre-tuned audio spectrum, and the bass knob is really just how much you want to crank up the subwoofer. On this set, the one "bass" knob is really a cheap equalizer. While that allows for some selection of how you want the setup to sound, the average person should really tune the knob to about 20% and forget it. Turning the knob lower makes the sound "tinny", higher makes some instruments such as drum and bass overly prominent, messing up the sound mix. However, if you want to crank the bass knob and make your neighbors angry, this setup can do that. -Audiophiles are going to rate these speakers are more like a 3/5, higher notes are a bit tinny and overall range is merely okay. While the bass can be cranked to absurd levels to wake the neighbors, that throws off the sound balance, hurting the overall experience. However, anyone will still agree that these speakers are an incredible value for the price- especially with the handy control pod. Even a hardened audiophile is still going to say this is a good deal for the price. -Only supports "aux in", meaning you can only get analog audio. For 99% of people this is fine, but audio snobs may cringe. Overall: High recommended as a budget surround speaker system. Perfect for dorms, bedrooms, computer desks or apartment living rooms. The sound quality is certainly better than the price would make you think, and you'll certainly think you paid twice the price once you dial in that "bass" knob. ... show more

  • Great sound at a reasonable price
Nice little system. Sounds quite good for a computer speaker. Solid bass and decent mids and treble. This will never be a great home high fidelity sound system but very hard to beat for a computer set up. Fairly large subwoofer base that contains the amplifier. That can be stashed behind the computer monitor or on the floor out of the way. Plenty of power. Decently long cables to the satellite speakers. Those sound good but are a little taller than the ones I was replacing so I had to adjust some shelf heights to make them fit. No problem. The little control "pod" is really useful as it is on the end of a fairly lengthy cable and can easily be placed left or right of the monitor and controls volume, base, on/off. Would not buy another computer speaker system without such a control pod. ... show more

  • Mixed feelings but worth the price
My old Windows XP PC IDT audio stopped working and could not find audio drivers to re-install and didn't want to deal with it. However the PC's analog earphone jack still worked. So enter this speaker system as an audio work around. The good: If someone wants loud enough audio for a good price this is for them. Music audio would be acceptable for most but its definitely not for picky audiophiles. Bass is good when i can find the bass control. The volume control is easy to get at and works ok. Had it working from box to PC in about 15 minutes an easy straight forward install. The Bad: My biggest gripe is the circular control pod which is the worst ergonomic design i've ever seen. Whoever designed that thing should be fired with no severance pay. Its basically a circular pod with the ON/OFF switch, and Bass control on opposite sides of the circular pod. Literally have to pick it up to see where the controls are at in a dark room. I usually need a flash light to find the bass control in a dark room. Worse yet the bass control is not a knob but a circular wheel making it even harder to find in a hurry. They could of easily designed the bass control on top of the pod along with the ON/OFF switch. Conclusion: Even though i struggle with the pod controls its good enough for this old PC and the price was right so its a keeper. ... show more

  • Great sound quality
Bought these for my dad for his birthday because he had been wanting a good quality sound system for his computer. For a man who doesn't show emotions he had those things hooked up, set up, and playing a movie so loud it rattled the flooring to the 2nd story of our home! The sound quality is incredible. Does not take up as much space as I thought it was going to and the set up was super easy! ... show more

  • They are good
They have clear sound even at high volume. The bass adjustment is easy. They are loud but not put them out your window loud. Very nice speakers.

  • (DO NOT BUY, not worth in in long run) Initially great BUT within a month started having issues
Initially great but within a month started having issues. Having static and also one speaker now only works, due to jack that connects to subwoofer. If I knew this would happen I could have just fixed my 10+yr computer speakers with sub that only had this occur after 10+ years of daily use. Learned my lesson stick to more reliable names ... show more
