Ordered a youth large for my 12 year old he loves the grip and the colors however the size is small. He will make them work for the rest of the football season. He wishes they came down onto his wrist instead of ending on the bottom portion of his palm where be cannot strap them very tight or his hands fall asleep. ... show more

I bought these gloves for my son, the first pair ripped within a few days. The seller was very quick to send a replacement. Unfortunately a month later that pair ripped as well, in the same spot as the last pair. The velcro strap that comes over detaches from the glove making them useless.

Barely lasted a month even though they were only used 2-3 times a week. On pair three in the last three months. First the index finger got a hole, then the right pinky and ring fingers broke down at the base of the glove

I bought these for my high school player - two games into the season (and he only wore them for games) the palm on one of the hands split like a melon when he caught a pass. Unfortunately I purchased for a friend of his, hoping that pair holds out longer than ours. Also the sticky has worn off one of the gloves - not worn in extreme cold or dampness ... show more

I bought these for my 7 y/o son's first year of football. They had mixed reviews and durability seemed to be the common theme among the poor reviews. However, I took a gamble because they were the least expensive gloves. My son likes them. They fit him well and says they are comfortable. They also lasted 2 months before the pattern part of the sticky palm peeled off of 1 finger of the glove. (We had 3 practices and 1 game per week. I washed the gloves on the delicate cycle and hung to dry 2 times a week.) Even though the finger peeled off, they are still sticky and they still work. I guess I could see bigger kids or adults being harder on the gloves than my 55 lbs. kid. Maybe that has something to do with it? If you want high quality, then buy a pair of the "name brand" gloves. As with most things, you get what you pay for. Maybe we just got lucky? Overall, we got our money's worth out of these gloves. ... show more
