Updated: I am a U.S. Women's size 16 in pants and usually fit in XL sizes as well. I carry most of my weight right around the middle, so finding a nice fitting pair of shorts has proven challenging. I had previously purchased these Cunlin High Waist Denim Shorts in XXL and returned them for an XL which fit just perfectly! (The photos are of me in the XL size) The are soft, truly high waisted with quite a bit of forgiving stretch and a stylish cut. They come down longer in the leg which is a welcomed feature to disguise a bit of cellulite in that region. I wish they carried these in other colors, because I would buy one in each. As it is, I think they have them in a lighter denim as well (I ordered the darker color) so those will soon be mine! I highly recommend these, especially for my fellow curvy chicks. Literally going to toss all the other ill-fitting denim shorts I own and replace them with these! Original: These Jean Shorts are are nice quality material, weighty but not too heavy, nicely stitched and constructed. The material is soft and comfortable and the legs are styled longer than your average jean shorts, which is exactly what I was looking for to cover a little bit of cellulite. I am a U.S. Size 16 with most of my weight in the middle and about a size 45 inch hips. I ordered these in size XXXL and they were far too big in the waist, hips and legs. I don't know why so many reviewers were saying to size up?? I'm usually between a small and medium, so I bought the medium based on the reviews. It was HUGE at my waist so I had to return. Thin material. Fits pretty well not super cute amazing not ugly. The pink is a hair lighter than I expected. Decent size pockets. Fairly wrinkly. Length is just past where my thigh rub I like that. Legs seem to like to ride up a bit but with the material being soft and thin it's not too bad comfort wise but it also hugs into my bottom but checks but hey apparently that's a style people pay extra for these days. I'm 5' 7" and 140 lbs. I first ordered the large because usually I need a large to accommodate my thighs more than my waist. The thigh fit was much too large for me, but the waist fit was perfect. Darn. So I returned the size large shorts(shoutout to Amazon and UPS for working together to create the BEST online shopping return process EVER!) and I ordered the size medium. I ordered these two days ago and they came today and are PERFECT! They really are true to size and literally fit like a damn glove. Best pair of jean shorts I've ever purchased and I loved them so much I bought another style in the same size and they'll be here on Monday! Eeeeeek! So I first purchased these in an XXL and they were too big in the leg area. The gaping in the back was really noticeable and not flattering. As for the stomach area it fit comfortably but definitely had extra room. I decided to go down to an XL to get a better fit all around but was super disappointed when they still didn't fit right. The legs fit perfect but now I could hardly get them to button. The difference in sizes are way off, I went from too big to wayyyy too small and only went down one size. I do plan on holding on to the XL pairs in hoping I'll be able to fit into them eventually. Overall I'm just really disappointed because they are super cute and comfortable but the proportions need some work. ... show more

I first ordered the white and absolutely loved them, they fit well but I decided to go up one size to make room for shrinkage from washing and to be just a little more comfy in my waist.They are flattering and are so comfortable . I now have the black and light blue Jean pair . Worth 5 stars to me .

I absolutely love these shorts!! I am 5'4.5" and have mid section with skin apron. These go on smooth with little effort and are comfortable! The stretch is awesome and I could probably go down to the XXL if I really wanted too. They fall just right on my leg how I like them! No booty showing or down to my knees! I will definitely be buying another pair after I loose more weight. And the rips are actual rips and you will need to make sure your panties aren't showing if the rips are big. I'm a journalism major and I'm dumbfounded and can't find words to express myself here. Ordered the one with the frayed legs. Received it. Could tell immediately it wasn't going to work. Put it on for one second just to prove myself right. The design is like...umm doesn't even resemble a piece of clothing. Like a 2-dimensional cardboard box made of blue denim. You try to make it fit to your human body but you almost cannot believe someone created this disaster. I took it off so fast my boyfriend didn't get to see it. He begged me to put it back on so he can see for himself how horrible it is as I've described. I did. We laughed for a few minutes about it. I promptly removed this item from my house and delivered it to the UPS store where I returned it for a full refund. ... show more
