I purchase this a while back for my 11ft blow up boat as shown in the picture. Took me a while to test it out in the lake. The motor arrived quickly and the seller/mfg was quick to respond to all my questions. The first test the throttle was low and maybe made 5mph. I reached out to them and after they instructed on how to adjust the throttle, and increase the RPM through a video they made, the second test was better. However, it still did not have enough HP for my specific boat to get it to plane. It starts on the first or second pull, easy to operate and maneuver. Starts first pull every time, economical on gas and does a great job. Only about 20 hours with it so far but very happy. Very impressed for the money.

    • Heavy vibrations will cause screws to back out, including your propellor.
It starts great. The fuel tank is very small, like a 1/3 gallon. Bring a small can with you. The propellor fell off one trip. ...just disappeared into the water. I had to get a replacement prop. The tiller handle was next to fall off. The screws backed themselves out during usage. Mind you the motor is a Chinese, air-cooled, inexpensive motor. You get what you get. If you want a Yamaha, prepare to pay over 2g. It has a strong vibration to it, and I can see why the screws would back out. I replaced the tiller screws (3), and I used threadlocker with lock washers on them. They won't back out again. I also used thread locker on the prop. Hopefully that also doesn't fall off into the drink. ... show more

I expected it to have a little more power. It's kind of heavy for the amount of power. But it runs good so far. Starts easy. Seems to be pretty good quality so far.
