  • Fits perfectly on a Gretsch 2627 with Bigsby
I recently purchased a Gretsch Streamliner 2627 guitar and needed to purchase a case for it. The Gretsch branded cases had mixed reviews and seemed to be overpriced for the quality of the case. After significant research, I rolled the dice on this case in tweed, based on the positive reviews and my experience with Amazon’s generous return policy. I was not disappointed! The case fits this guitar perfectly! The Bigsby tremolo needs to be folded for the guitar to fit properly, but that is standard operating procedure with a Bigsby. The fit is snug, but doesn’t require the addition of any extra padding, towels, etc to keep it from “flopping around” inside the case. If you have a double cutaway, semi-hollow bodied, full size Gretsch, I’d say this case will do the job for a reasonable price. I’d bet the black version of the case has the same fit, but I do not know for sure. I thought the tweed was a nice look for this style of guitar. The case seems well padded. The neck is properly supported. The clasps are solid and secure. The exterior of the case seems sturdy. No complaints. Hopefully it holds up well over time. ... show more

  • Good product for the money.
Color: Black Style: 335 Electric
I have two Crossrock cases. One for my Epiphone Les Paul Special and one for my Guild Starfire I. Both are fully capable of doing their job to protect your guitar! I like the Guild case a little more than the Les Paul case as it is made a little more robust.

  • Perfect Fit!
Color: Black Style: Les Paul
"AMAZING" guitar case for my LP! This case is exactly what I needed to protect my Gibson LP Standard! The case is built very strong, with the perfect amount of padding inside. There's even enough room inside for my guitar leaving the strap attached!

  • Great Quality

  • Fits Grote Jazz Hollow Body Guitar
Color: Black Style: 335 Electric
The Grote Jazz Hollow Body Guitar fits in this case. The bottom bout fits just right. The top bout leaves a space of one finger on each side. The lid and bottom of the case have padded protrusions. The one on the lid keeps the guitar from moving around when carried. The bottom one is for supporting the upper back of the guitar. This is because the tilt back neck design of the guitar means that keeping the neck parallel to the case length will elevate the back side of the guitar off of the bottom of the case. The pad could be higher for this guitar. Since this isn’t a custom fit case, it is understandable. There is a compartment with a hinged lid under the neck. It will hold strings and small things. It has a tab to make opening it easy. All of the fabric on the inside is attached well. There are no seams showing and no glue blotches anywhere. There are three feet on the back side that keep the vinyl parts off the ground when the case is open. When the case is upright with the headstock on top, there are four feet that will hold the case in position. That isn’t very stable. When the case is standing on the bottom side with the handle side up, there are only two feet on the case. The hinges are used for feet in this position. In time those hinges will become scratched. I would prefer feet to hold the case off of the floor, not the hinges. The handle is made of padded leather bits. The leather is folded over and the stiff seam is on the palm side. The handle does not fill my small hand. When squeezed the seam feels uncomfortable. With my guitar inside, there is more pressure on the index and middle fingers than the ring and small fingers. Four rivets hold the hinges for the handle. On other brands I’ve never had such fail. The lid opens and closes easily without needing to push or twist it into position. There is a latch on the opposite side of the handle. Which makes it stronger. The outer material looks like some kind of vinyl, not hard plastic. I got the black version. It looks like the material used to cover black Fender combo amplifiers. It will probably be durable. The case is heavy. That might be a good sign that it will be strong. I don’t travel with my guitar. This case was bought to keep it safe in my bedroom. It will probably last forever in this capacity. If I did travel with this guitar case, more support under the upper bout would be added; something like a small towel or pad. This is for my specific guitar. Others might not need that. I like to keep the case leaning upright against a wall, with the headstock pointing up. I would add some kind of extra protection to the corner of the case that would make contact with the ground, to prevent it from wearing. Industrial glue with a strip of leather would work. Overall it seems like a good case. ... show more
