My son fell in love with the minions ever since he saw the first Despicable Me. Now, I will admit I'm not that parent to give into buying all the merchandise of things my kids like because we all know how fickle our littles' likes can be. However, my son needed shoes to lounge around the house because I extremely dislike him walking barefoot or in socks in which he can possibly slip and fall and get hurt. So one day as we walked the mall looking for something completely unrelated, we stumbled across the Crocs outlet store and he immediately fell in love with these. I was hesitant to buy them because they were extremely pricey... and a brightly banana yellow. But after a pouty face and a quick search on Amazon I got them for half the price offered at the store. My son is 3 1/2 years old and is in between a size 6 and 7 in shoes. Having trying the shoes at the store, I noticed the size runs kind of small so I opted to get a size 8 because I want them to last some time. It's a perfect fit with adequate room for growth. I know these shoes will last some time as thankfully my son's foot does not grow too quickly. They are really cute and whimsical (the left shie has one eye and the right shoe has two eyes, both designs grinning at each other). I have to say these shoes have exceeded my expectations!! After weeks of wear they are not nearly as dirty as you would imagine. My son LOVES them and if it were up to him he would wear these shoes EVERYWHERE! He has worn them around the house, out in the yard, the beach, and splash pad all without tripping over them or the shoes slipping out. Currently, he wears them with the strap around his ankle with no problem. These Crocs are definitely a win for me and my kid and the best part is that they have these in sooooo many other cartoons designs. I know that when he outgrows these , I will be able to get them again in a bigger size (and, hopefully, different color too!). ... show more
