  • Love it!
Color: Clear Black Edition
I live in Japan, and when I wanted to buy from CRKD's official website, the shipping cost was $150. I had no choice but to give up after a total of $300. But I'm very happy to find it on Amazon... It was $120 in total on Amazon's order, but it was much cheaper than $300 and it was worth getting. I'm glad I didn't buy it on the official website. I'm a woman, but it fits women's hands just right! Thank you so much! ... show more

  • A must have
Color: Clear Black Edition
This is an absolute must for switch owners. Quit looking at other similar controllers. This is literally everything in one. Super comfy and has a premium feel.

  • Great but not perfect
Color: Clear White Edition
I have a few different controller options and thought I would try this. I like that it is one piece. It is decently comfortable. The rumble is very good as are having the extra programable buttons. I am giving it a 4 and not a 5 as I have both the Hori Split pad pro and Binbok joysticks. These both have the traditional button layout of a switch pro controller and are more comfortable to hold. So, I will be going back to using those. One of the reasons I got this is I travel and put my switch in my backpack and it is stuffed full. I had one of the controllers snap during transport and thought this would be a better option. If only for travel. I may still use it exclusively for traveling. One issue I have is the boxing says it is dockable, which is not true. You can not put this in your existing switch dock, which you can do with the above mentioned controller options. When the say you can dock it, what they really mean is you can lay it down and if you purchase the usb-c to hdmi cable, you can then plug it into the TV. In doing this you would still want a switch wireless controller to connect to the switch with. So, don't really see much benefit there as you could just buy the dongle to achieve the same. ... show more

  • Almost Great
Color: Clear Black Edition
This thing is almost the best possible option for a handheld controller on the switch, but the ergonomics seriously hold it back. The positioning of the D-Pad and face buttons feels poorly thought out. You will have to change your grip to comfortably use the face buttons. I could see this being better than the original Joycons for people with exceptionally large hands, but even then there are better options. It seems as though this was designed with the intention that you will use the back buttons primarily - which is probably great for some people, but not for me. Others have reported that the unit will scratch the back of your switch, that it drains your battery excessively, and that the rumble is insanely loud. I didn't experience these issues first hand, although I thought they were worth mentioning. The good is that it does offer a 'premium' feeling experience. Making the Joycons and switch feel like one solid unit is a huge plus. It also repositions the charging port to be further up on the back of the unit, which is a godsend if your frequently play handheld with the switch plugged in - you no longer have to worry about resting the console on the charging cord. Making this functionally a handheld/portable dock that can travel as one unit with the switch is a great idea as well. Ultimately I love concept of this device, and I would love to see something like this succeed. I think that with some refinement CRKD could have a real winner - if not on the Switch then on its successor. I would love to see improvements as far as ergonomics, and an onboard battery to offset the switch's abysmal stock battery life. At this time, though, there are other Joycon alternatives that offer a better user experience. ... show more
