It’s a thin silky cape. But it isn’t going to tear easily, snag, get worn out quickly or even krinkle much. We steamed it when we first got it to get the packing creases out, but after wearing it for 4 days at a comic con, it didn’t even wrinkle. My son really liked the movement and flow it had.
