Let me start by saying that I'm 28 years old and I never had my teeth whitened or even crossed my mind in doing so, I thought they look "okay" the way they were but boyyy I was wrong. This is a review with some info of my own experience using the product & to guide you on what you might expect and maybe help you with a decision. Aight, now I want to say that this product has impressed me soo much that this might be the longest review I ever wrote and no, I have not been sponsored or paid by this company, this is just my opinion and my honest review. Anyways, Crest 3D White Strips is one of those things that you didn't know you needed but trust me, this thing it's amazing. It went beyond my expectations and it's one of those products that I'll be buying on the regular from now on. Make sure that you are consistent and follow the directions when using it. The kit comes with 20 treatments + 2 One Hour Express treatments as a bonus. So it takes 20 days for the whole process plus 2 more days if you use the bonus treatments. One treatment per day and each treatment comes with 2 "whitening strips" one for lower and one for upper teeth. Also a little DISCLAIMER : I took pictures of the whole process and under the same lighting at around the same time of the day, I tried to take the photos with the same angle but no angle is exactly the same. Due to this some photos might look slighty different and with slighty different colors. You might also notice some slight color variations but every phone screen is different. As a reference the photos were taken on a Galaxy S22 Plus. I will also label the photos so you know which part of the process they are from. The pictures were taken as follows: 1. before starting the kit (DAY 1) 2. Half way tru the kit (DAY 10) 3. At the end of the kit (DAY 20) 4.after using the 1 Hour Express (DAY 21) 5.after using the 2nd 1 Hour Express (DAY 22) 6. And last, a picture from before starting the whole kit and a picture from the very end of the whole kit including the 2 One Hour Express. (DAY 1 & DAY 22) So to clarify, I used the whole kit including the 2 bonus treatments back to back but I don't think you have to do it exactly that way; I think is better if you use the 2 bonus treatments down the line, maybe a few months after the regular kit to somehow "extent" the whitening effect..? I think that is the reason why the whitening effect is less noticeable on the 1 Hour Express photos than the regular kit photos. Also on another note.. You might have seen on the reviews that you get sensitive teeth while using the kit, this is true but is not as bad a you think, at least for me it wasn't. In my experience I had sensitive teeth on some of the days that I used the kit but it goes away in a hour or two after each treatment. Sensitive tooth paste should help but dont let that discourage you cuz the end results are soo worth it ! Now, I want to end this review by saying that this product is worth every penny and I 100% recommend this to anyone. Also the pictures SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES !     • Cut the strips in half.
I was having severe pain using these. The first time I used these, I made it through the 45 minutes, but my teeth hurt very badly for 7 hours afterwards. I took a couple days off and tried again. I only made it 15 minutes the second time and my teeth hurt for 2 or 3 hours after that. I was going to give up on these when I saw a video from a dentist talking about some other strips that are half the size, so that they only go on the front of your teeth (after all, you’re not trying to whiten the back of your teeth) and don’t hurt. They also have twice the hydrogen peroxide that these do. It didn’t sound right to me that the cause of the strips hurting is because they touch both sides of your teeth, but I figured it was worth a shot to try cutting them in half. Lo and behold, I’ve had zero pain after using them that way for about 5 days now. I can now use them every day, for the full 45 minutes. They don’t slip or anything (granted I still try not to speak or anything while they’re on). Not only do they not hurt, but now I’ve doubled my strip count. ... show more

    • Works but weaker than it used to be
These do whiten teeth a noticeable amount. However, they are weaker than they used to be and therefore don't whiten as much or as fast as previous versions. I used these for the first time about 3 years ago and they rapidly erased a lifetime of stains (and I'm a heavy coffee drinker). This last use only reduced the stains of the previous 3 years by about half. They hurt a lot less now. I assume the formulation was weakened in response to complaints about the degree of tooth and gum pain/sensitivity. For the same price, I'd prefer the stronger formulation with the pain. ... show more

    • A way that helps put dentist out of work!
This product works amazing well! Been using them for a few years now and been complimented on how white my teeth are! Even been told by my dentist that am the type of guy that puts him out of work ! I had broken tooth last year when I went to dentist to have it looked at! It,and haven't been to the dentist in over 30 years!!! Well it was spit from a fall and got assessed but had no cavities and my teeth were and still are very white I use all Crest products and there strips are great strong and I don't get any pain from them highly recommend all Crest products especially there whitening strips!!! ... show more

    • Causes Teeth Sensitivity But Works
These work. It takes a while and you have to consistently put these strips on day after day. It will whiten your teeth a little over time. I highly recommend using Sensodyne toothpaste with this to help reduce the tooth sensitivity. Or, ask your dentist if he/she can give you a prescription for toothpaste for sensitive teeth. The prescription strength stuff is stronger than Sensodyne. I try to rub it on my teeth and let it stay on there for as long as possible before I whiten my teeth. It helps reduce the amount of tingly sensitivity that I feel after using whitening strips. I highly recommend. Absolutely the best whitening strips. They can sting a little if you get them on your gums, but I cut the strips in half so they’re not touching my gums- then you get double the amount! I get so many compliments on how white my teeth are since using these. They did not cause my teeth to feel sensitive. Worth the money! ... show more
