I have to say that this is one of the best curl creams I have ever used. I had tried another product of this brand Creme of Nature by a friends recommendation and I really liked it (the gel from the flaxeed line). I saw this one here on amazon for only $5 and with great reviews and decided to try as well and I am so glad I did. I have 2c-3a hair and I am still not done with my transition so there are areas that don't define as well. My hair also is dry and it has medium porosity so I have invested a lot of money on creams and products way more expensive that do not give me the results this curl activator gives. First it is very concentrated so you only use a little bit and I have very long hair so this tube will last me for a while. It does not leaves residue, it crontrols frizz very well. I didn't read the instructions very well and used it like a rinse out conditioner at first. I still saw some benefit to my waves. When I finally read the tube and realized it was NOT to be rinsed out it worked lots better. Ha! I can see a definite change in my waves when I use the product correctly. It only takes a little of product, so this tube will last a while. It is light on the hair and smells great. No stiffness, no stickiness, just soft manageable waves. I am absolutely in awe how well this product works on my hair. I'm a red head and my curls have a mind of their own. I have thick course hair but it tends to frizz and break. The tube is a generous size and the scent is pleasant. It is a bit sticky at first but rinses off my hands easy. I have used it on just washed/conditi I Ned hair and also apply it in the morning to dry hair. Whatever the ingredients this product is amazing!! In all honesty my hair is just wavy so I thought I would try this. When I apply and use the blow dryer defuser it works a lot better than air drying. I do wish it had more holding qualities I still need hairspray to keep the waves but for the price I would recommend giving it a try.
