The figures don't move, they don't bend, they just stand straight up. I bought it for a dollhouse and I will have to buy another family, because this family can't sit down on the furniture that came with the dollhouse. But to add they are beautifully made.

This is a great toy for playing with and doing therapy role play. It’s fine in the bath , very sturdy and the paint doesn’t come off. There are so many things to do with them as they stand up so well even with hands with motor skill issues. They also fit perfectly in a dollhouse.

This doll family is perfect for play therapy. My clients love them and I love that each member of the family is represented. I bought this set in African American and Caucasian. I will be purchasing a Hispanic and Asian set very soon. The only thing I did not like about these dolls is that they do not bend at all. This are by far the best made family figures I have found. they are sturdy and well balanced- meaning the people actually stand up! I use these in my therapy practice and it is always appreciated when the toys reflect who is actually using them. Representative family figures are so important. I only wish they had an Arab family.
