I've never used a cloth shower curtain but I've seen them at hotels so I figured they must work somehow. I was sick of plastic ones so I got this and it gets completely soaked every shower and we have a tiny bathroom so I'm always hitting it. It takes forever to dry so it's a bit annoying. Maybe most people put a plastic ones in front of it, that would work but i don't want to use those anymore since I'm sick of them getting all scummy. So idk. I wouldn't call it even water resistant.
