  • The Little Engines that Could...
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 24) Color: Rainbow
When I first received these I was completely satisfied with the value (eg- cost vs. quantity/quality) of the products as they (on the surface) appeared to be decently constructed in that none of the markers were broken/leaking, or missing and the variety of colors was excellent. I honestly did not expect these to last very long as the markers themselves are a touch thicker than a standard pencil and about the same length, but never the less I had some projects that required coloring and only a little at that so even if a marker ran out of juice, it would be okay. When I started to use the first one I applied light-med pressure as I did not want to damage the tip and I wanted to see: A) the color of marker compared to the cap color and B) how much ink was released. These make a decently fine line, a bit more precise than I had imagined which I was worried about since I needed to fill in some color, but again not in a large area so at that time I estimated I would probably use an entire marker for one block of color. After a minute of coloring in the ink seemed to be dying out and I became concerned, but I also realized with this fine of a tip and the fact that these are NOT intended to fill-in color it might be that the marker simply needed a second to replenish itself. I capped it and set it down for a minute. When I started again, the line was very weak and I was about to give up as I had tried applying a little more pressure with no noticeable improvement, but just as I was about to throw in the towel the ink flow started back up and not only was I able to finish my project, I was able to use the same marker on another separate project and this time (total use: 10 minutes) no stoppage. In fact I am pretty sure there is enough ink left to do some other detailed work if necessary. Overall as long as you don't abuse these markers they are a great value and will work as advertised. ... show more

  • Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews! Gets better with use!
Takeaway: seem sketchy at first, but with some use they become pretty awesome! Note: these aren’t fabric paint markers. If you are looking for something that will be opaque over a pattern or dark material, these ain’t it. These are definitely more marker-like than paint like, so I would use on a lighter colored fabric. First impressions: most were dry, most markers had different colors on each end, and actual colors don’t match the caps After about 1-2 minute of use of each marker: colors balanced out well (I.e. they seemed to be different colors on each end but with use became a much better color match) and the markers that initially seemed very dry vastly improved in color payoff/flow of color. In my one photo, you can see how the very dry dark green marker became much more pigmented and vibrant. In my other photo, you can see how the thin green lines I made initially using a marker eventually became a much lighter green, better matching the color that came out the other end. So, I think that while they seem sketchy at first, with some use the color flows much better and the variation in the colors improves. I also didn’t have any problem with colors bleeding; I used these markers on white 100% cotton woven fabric that I pre washed. Great value for money! Update: in total, I had 4 markers that each had one side that was too dry to use after some working with them. I heat set with an iron and it seems to have worked so far. I would agree that there could be more vibrant purples and light blue, but otherwise the colors (after some working) all seem to be pretty distinct and blendable. ... show more

  • My only ding is the ink well size
Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1) Color: White
The fabric markers are as described. I love having both types of tips on the same pen. My design did run the ink out while working on a pair of high top sneakers. The colors are vivid, good control with both end type tips, minimal bleed over. They performed as expected.

  • Love these
This is my second set and these I bought for a gift. They work great. My own set I bought 2.5 yrs ago and the color is still good on the items I have washed numerous times. Highly recommend.

  • Decent fabric markers
Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1) Color: White
For the price ($10.99 at time of posting) these worked well. I used them for an art lesson with my 5 year-old student. We took some white cotton fabric and drew creatures/monsters and then turned them into little plush characters with a sewing machine. It worked well for the art lesson. Here are some issues: -The markers bleed through the cotton fabric. Now if we were using something like canvas, doubtful that would happen. -The markers wash out a lot. I'm not sure how they would hold their color in various fabrics. I took my samples under running water, and the ink just went everywhere in the sink. Be careful what fabric you are working with; the cotton fabric bled everywhere. I told my student's mom to just try to keep it dry and don't wash it. -I have used sharpies in the past on a white t-shirt, and I actually think that will work better as far as being color-fast and actually wearing your artwork. I do appreciate the dual tip and the price point. I think for the value, they work perfect for arts & crafts, but if you are trying to do some professional-quality fabric markers, you might wanna shop around. ... show more

  • Fabric Pens for Cloth Activities or Crafting
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 24) Color: Rainbow
These work great on cotton fabric, t-shirts, or tablecloths for fun party activities. I purchased them for a baby onesie decorating party and they worked great.
