My girls loved this for Christmas, however it's important to read the instructions! It's not like your typical DIY slime. She attempted it alone claiming she knew how to make slime and it did not turn out well at all. Once we sat together and followed the instructions step by step, it turned out amazingly. She loved the sparkle add in and loved that she could make clear slime. However it is SUPER sticky so a little extra activator might help (I'm talking a drop or two at a time until desired consistency is reached). It’s water. We followed directions exactly and buy kits like this a lot. Junk! And when we called the company you have to put in the last name of the person u want and we do not know anyones name! Rip off!

I purchased this for my 11 and 9 year old kids to play with on vacation. I am not a huge fan of slime after having the kids come home from camp with stained clothes, stained hands, and just a general all around slime mess. I figured if we're in a hotel, why not be wild and crazy and buy a kit! Directions are not clear as to which of the contents is the "additive". Kind of difficult to decipher. Wouldn't take much to make it easier for kids and parents to understand. Product is just okay. Paint color jars very difficult to open without spilling. Slime was extremely sticky and breaks apart. Almost impossible to play with. Was expecting more from the reviews. ... show more

We purchased this as a gift for my nephew who is 5 years old with ADD. This was a great gift for him. It keeps him occupied and keeps his hands and mind engaged. It doesn't over stimulate him like a flashier gift would. Overall excellent buy for us, and great gift for him.
