The media could not be loaded. I made a video where I attempted to share how smooth and quiet the bearings are. Unfortunately, I'm not able to upload the full video. (What remains of my video only shows the box the bearings came in.) Therefore, I will describe my impression. Subjectively, these bearings don't seem to be as smooth and precise as the top quality Japanese bearings I have used. And I don't believe these have the super finished raceways of something like a Timken brand bearing, for example. But they are not bad (as far as I can tell). For the price (currently around $4.25 each) they seem to be a good value. Bearings can be rated according to internal clearance and the classes go from C1 to C5. I think most bearings are C3 or C4. This Amazon page doesn't tell us what these bearings are. Some bearing manufacturers use suffixes to designate the class, but I could not find any markings on these bearings to give me a clue about their class. I guess if your application is critical, you won't consider purchasing these bearings. But if your needs are modest, they should do the job. BTW, these are double rubber sealed. ... show more

These are double-rubber sealed (aka 2RS), Chrome bearings with dimensions: W: 13mm, I.D.: 15mm, O.D. (aka 6302): 42mm, conforming to iso 16949. Alright, so I feel all nice and cozy with the stats. Now what?Well, the uses are plenty, and as you may know, astronauts depend on them and your fellow mechanic uses them to. Few things travel across industry the way ball bearings do. But for me, right now, I needed these for one very, VERY important project. To make those lazy turntable thingies, so I don't have to reach across the food in the refrigerator with grease on my elbows just to grab some grub. I did say the uses were plenty.... Inner bore and outer race have decent finish quality. Flat faces are somewhat rougher in finish, non issue for most applications. Will be used on a secondary spindle addition to my hobby size metal lathe.

What I received is a 6207P6 open bearing. It is not sealed and not lubricated, just light coat of shipping oil. The seller probably does not know what P6 means. It is a tolerance class and P5 is more accurate (and more expensive) than P6. The bearing dimensions are mostly OK for the P6 class, except for the bore, which is about .0002" oversized. Otherwise the bearing is smooth to rotate and does not have excessive clearance. However the description is very poor and such product does not deserve more than 3 stars. ... show more

Very well designed bearing that can clearly handle a significant load. I am working on a project that requires rotation about an axis with a rather sizable gap in the middle. Looking through the bearings on Amazon this one caught my eye due to the dimensions and once ordered I was excited about the possibilities. It was well packaged and seems to be very well made.
