  • short people would have to hem it but it would be worth it if you like cloaks that are well made and attractive
I get lots of compliments on this> And I don't just wear it for a costume on halloween..this is my winter cloak. It is thick and warm. I am on the tall side for a woman..5'9"..and this goes all the way to the ground on me. This is truly a cloak for those of us with viking blood..short people would have to hem it but it would be worth it if you like cloaks that are well made and attractive. ... show more

  • These are minor complaints though and were easily fixed. After that
It’s very long for a 5’8 man of sticky build. I hemmed it up and also too this cheetah chain off. It looked cheap and didn’t fit with the House Stark look I was going for. These are minor complaints though and were easily fixed. After that, the look was great. My only real complaint was the fur portion is held on by Velcro. I guess that’s for easier washing? I’ll probably hold it with safety pins from now on. ... show more

  • Great cloak
Was heavy enough to not flap around but light enough to wear around a ren faire all day comfortably. Was actually a little longer then I expected and with a single layer of water repellant I stayed dry all day. Easily the most complimented part of my outfit and was absolutely worth it.

  • Such a good cloak!
I love this cloak, I am 5’4 and I love long cloaks that drag on the ground, this is the perfect length. The fur lining is attached to the cloak at three points via Velcro, but it’s a very nice material

  • ... review I've written here so that should be a good sign to readers
So this is the first review I've written here so that should be a good sign to readers. I ordered this on Friday, July 8th, and it got here the following Monday. That was three days before the earliest scheduled delivery date and that alone was great! Then once I tried the cloak on, I was blown away with how great it was. It was a little big which made it feel more authentic to me. It is nice and warm. The material feels good too. I highly recommend this product because I can't find a single problem with it. Winter is coming and this cloak will be great use for it! ... show more

  • Length and quality
The cloak is nice and the fabric snuggling and warm. Wasn’t to fond of the Velcro fur….which I believe should of been stitched into the cloak, but that’s not a problem if you can sew or want a custom pelt. The length is perfect for me being 6”4. It’s hangs just right and doesn’t drag. Soon I’ll add a fox pelt and stitched it in soon,Prost! ... show more

  • Great cloak for costumes!
Very nice cloak for cosplay - nice material (thick and heavy, but comfortable). Comes with what appears to be snow leopard chain attaching the cloak which doesn't fit with a Game of Thrones aesthetic, but are easily removable if you wish. Good item!

  • A bit large and not immediately usable.
I have been looking for some fur-adorned decent cloaks for use at the Texas Renaissance Festival. I am not afraid to pay more for something that I like and something that will last. I was excited about this one after perusing so many obviously cheaply made ones all over Amazon. Upon receiving it, I was surprised at just how large it is, which doesn't in and of itself make it unusable. There is a long cord that runs through the top (collar) area so it may be cinched at the shoulders; however, it is still wide enough to accommodate at least one buffalo. The length is better for someone at or over 6'0" in height. I'm at 5'10", which is still usable mind you, albeit a bit awkward. The cloak came with the cord pulled mostly to one side, so I had to slowly work the cord through until it came out both sides. Anyone who's had corded shorts knows what I'm talking about. The main issue is the fake fur. It is a decent sized piece that would be nice if it simply had decent velcro to match. Unfortunately, the makers of this cloak put on extremely cheap and unusable pseudo-velcro in 3 spots for the collar area. They do not hold at all. This fur needs to be attached in a different way (e.g. sewn, button). I will try to make use of the fur with a different, better-fitting cloak that I already have. So basically I end up paying $50 for the fur piece. ... show more
