Problem with the Rose Water only

I’ve ordered the Rose water of this brand before & was very happy with it. This purchase, however, is not so great. The orange blossom water smells lovely, exactly as it should be. But the rose water smells only faintly like roses. Actually 🤔…..hardly AT ALL like roses is more accurate. I compared it
to a bottle of the same exact rose water that I still had in the cupboard & the LACK of rose scent was quite obvious. It had absolutely NO rose taste as well! I phoned Amazon customer service ( THANK YOU Liam!😊) & was given a refund on the entire purchase. (I would have been happy with just a replacement of /or refund for only the rose water, but they refunded the cost of both.) I have always been really very happy with Amazon customer service & today was no exception ! I’ve found that going into any customer service call ( with anyone) with an attitude of patience, rather than irritation, usually always results in a pleasant encounter, rather than one of frustration & irritation on the part of all involved. Kindness is something that customer service reps are rarely on the receiving end of. A little bit of kindness can go a long way towards a happy resolution for a problem with a purchase. Plus.. it can make someone’s difficult day (of having to deal with legitimately cranky customers) a whole lot better. Everyone gets impatient & cranky when things don’t go the way we hoped. Being patient & kind towards one another is a simple, but extremely powerful, way to illicit much needed change in our world. Starting with an Amazon return/refund encounter…. I purchased the two bottle set, rose and orange. I wanted these for one recipe a piece, however, I’ve learn to incorporate the liquids into other recipes too. I use them in cakes, muffins, sauces, salad dressings and cocktail simple syrups.

Maybe I’m using this product wrong but truly I’m not sure what it does for me. I do get a glow when I use it but I also get a burning sensation on the skin so I don’t think I’m going to continue to use it on my face.

The media could not be loaded. Such a nice floral touch to desserts and shakes. A friend of mine even recommended the rose water for facial toners but I haven’t tried it yet. Took my baklava syrup to the next level!
