My daughter is obsessed with "Baby do-do" so I thought this vacuum would be the perfect gift. I love how it has the rechargeable cord and she likes to help mommy vacuum. The only thing is that this vacuum is haunted AF. I started to notice strange subtle things that I attributed to "the battery must be running low" because I would tell my daughter to go turn it off and as soon as I said that, it would turn off by itself. Must be coincidence, right? Wrong, it happened 5 more times! Then last night after I put away all my daughters toys in her room and tucked her into bed, in the middle of the night, this vacuum is in my LIVING ROOM, with the lights and music going off BY ITSELF! I run into my child's room expecting to catch this sneaky girl playing with her toys...NOPE! She is fast asleep and snoring. So now I am sitting here after turning off the vacuum and I hear it go off again by itself!!! No one is home except me! I assume its the ghost of all the baby sharks that were eaten in utero. ... show more

My grandson loves this vaccum! He got the first one for his 2nd birthday. We had to recharge it often because he played with it so much that the charge connector wore out. We are now on the 2nd one and he plays with it just as much.

Makes noise like a sweeper too, besides the musical dancing shark. You can shut one off if the sweeper scares toddler, and just play music. Cute toy

    • This product is very poorly designed/made!
I purchased this product TWICE and both times it had a defect. The first time was after my son played with it and fell in love -- when I went to charge the battery the charger would not fit into the micro USB port, it seems that it was installed too deeply into the body of the vacuum. I called the manufacturer's customer service line and was basically told they could do nothing but I should try to return it to the store I purchased it from (Walmart). So I returned it and, after finding reviews online of the same situation, ordered another one (on Amazon, upon seeing there were only a handful left in stock and nobody else was selling it) hoping that the defect was a fluke. Well THAT defect wasn't on the new one, but the screw to the battery compartment door was completely stripped. So I had to MacGyver it off without shattering the whole thing and now have to hold the compartment shut with duct tape. If my son wasn't obsessed with Baby Shark and this thing I would definitely return it for my money back. ... show more

    • Exactly what my Baby Shark Fan needed
My son just turned 3 and loves Baby Shark. He also loves "helping" mommy vacuum, sweep, mop, etc. This Baby Shark vacuum was the ultimate gift for him and I am so happy we were able to get him one. It works pretty good for a childs vacuum and had a dirt cup you empty just like my vacuum. It also recharges so no need to change batteries every other day. So the other thing you're probably wondering, is this enough to keep my childs attention more than 5 minutes? Well I'm happy to report that this vacuum was a huge hit with all my younger kids of various ages. My 3 and 4 year olds loved it as well as my 7 and 9 year olds! It was also one of the only toys that kept their attention past the time all the wrapping paper was cleaned up! They were playing with this for days on end and would still be now if... the charge port hadn't messed up already. Which brings me to my only con and the reason I knocked one star off on sturdiness. My 4 year old was so anxious to play with it he decided to take it off charge one day when I wasn't paying attention... That was the death of the vacuum unfortunately. I know many reviews are saying they aren't satisfied but I think its cute and my 2 year olds love it. It's about 2ft. Rechargeable. Plays Baby Shark song and it does pick up very small debri. No it didn't vacuum like an actual vacuum. It's a TOY. If you want real vacuum functions, just buy a real vacuum. If you just want something cute for your kids to play with, this is it. ... show more

Got this early for my daughter's birthday and am happy with it so far. We'll see how well it actually works when she gets to open it & use it. But I was highly disappointed with how the box looked. It was bent up and had cardboard tapped over the front of it so you couldn't see the vacuum inside. It arrived inside of a blue package bag. And I went to put the battery inside to go ahead and charge it and the battery just barely fits inside of it. Its got a little bit of a bulge to it. Its definitely more of a toy quality than actual vacuum. Edit: She loves it but it's definitely just a toy vacuum. It does such up some dust and dirt but not very much. But as long as she's happy with it I'm happy. ... show more
