  • Pretty Great Tent
Honestly, it’s a pretty great tent. My wife and I do struggle sometimes getting the supports locked in, but I’m usually strong enough to get it in there with some elbow grease. It is WAY easier with two people (I imagine even more so with more people but we’ve only ever used two to set it up) and even our two dogs do well in it. It’s spacious enough to fit a large air mattress and still walk around and my tall wife can stand up straight in most of it. Also love the “porch” area. We use it for storage when we camp to have a separate space from sleeping but also enclosed/covered but easily accessible while hanging out without showing off the sleeping area. I DO WISH the access for the external power was on both sides as some campsites we go to we orient in a way the power isn’t on the same side but we have long cords so we get by. It does sweat, condensate inside depending on weather. And the fabric is like all tent’s, not 100% water proof to the touch. But we don’t have any leaks. ... show more

  • Nice sized tent
Wanted a tent with screened in "porch" with a floor in case I needed extra sleeping room or storage during rain. I didn't have a lot of rain when I used it so I can't speak to that. We had one queen sized mattress and two people who prefer a pallet on the ground. As with any tent, I divide the number of people the tent sleeps by two to get a more accurate idea. Four slept comfortably in main sleeping portion and two more could easily sleep on "porch" if wanted (or great place to keep your dogs out of the rain overnight. Porch windows zip up which is nice for changing clothes or keeping camp gear dry if using for storage. Fairly easy set up and tear down but definitely a two person job. It's a great addition to my family camping gear. ... show more

  • Great tent! Zipper broke eventually.
Love our tent. It’s huge. Not too bad to put up Considering it’s size. Durable, roomy, and good Looking. Only complaint I have is that it takes 2 hands to unzip the outside door. Makes it difficult when you have your hands full. I purchased a second Core tent for the kids now as well. Edited review: two years later (6 camping trips total) I am looking for a new tent. The zipper on the outside screen door gets stuck constantly. And it pretty much broke this last time we used it. Not sure how long a tent is supposed to last as this is my first tent purchase. ... show more

  • Best tent so far ** UPDATE**
Let me just start by saying.. This was the best tent purchase my husband and I have made. We tent camp many times every year, and decided this year we wanted a new tent. We did our fair share of research on best tents.. We came across this Core 11 person with screened in porch... We are currently on our way home from a 10 day camping trip in the U.P. of Michigan on Lake Superior. We experienced rain, wind, warm days & chilly nights. The rain did pool a little on the floor from under the tent, with just a tarp under the floor. But, nothing came in on the sides, like with our last tent. Luckily, we had foam boards, that after the 1st rain we put under the floor, which stopped all puddling. The tent held up well, to the 15-20 mph winds off Superior. Although, it would be nice if the side vents had a way to close. My husband is 6'4, and was able to stand completely upright, in the main room, which was great, had to bend a little bit in the screened in area. It was extremely nice to be able to sit in the screened area to get away from the bugs. The tent in general is very spacious. Entering and exiting the tent made you feel like you were being birthed again, unless you unzip the bottom also. Lol UPDATE*** We have now used the tent MANY times in the last year.. Still holds up very well, water still stays out, (unless you leave, and leave all your windows open.) 🤦♀️ We honestly are very happy with our tent. ... show more

  • Awesome tent.
I have gone camping with this tent 3 times since purchase. My last trip a windstorm came through where we were camping on the 2nd night, wind was a sustained 20 knots and gusts up to 45 knots, rain, cold and then miserable the next day. My tent was in good shape the next morning while several other tents collapsed during the storm. The only damage my tent suffered was one of the shock cords broke when tearing down the tent due to the storm. The poles were fine. My tent stayed dry even with a pool of water underneath it. I am very happy with this tent and hope to get many years of use out of it. ... show more

  • Great big tent
I used this tent for camping at Airventure this year. It was huge. Love the entry way so I can take shoes off and other gear without bringing grass, dirt and bugs into my sleeping area. Had a full size cot in there as well as a chair in the sleeping area with tons of room to spare. The ground vents were great for allowing cooler air to circulate while my windows were closed at night. It was a chore to set up, I think shorter people might need a helper. I’m 6’ and put it up solo with no problem. It is also heavy, so I wouldn’t recommend this for packing into a campsite. ... show more

  • Very roomy and easy to set up
Got this because we really want a front porch tent. Our first time setting up this tent took ~30 mins; my projection is that the 2nd time will take less than 10 mins. It also heavily rained the 3rd night we used this tent. There was a little bit of rain in the front porch because we forgot to Velcro the bottom part. Overall, very sturdy, very roomy, and held up against rain very well. * Update: 2nd time took about 10 minutes to set up. The bag for the tent is roomy enough so you can fit a tarp in it too. * ... show more

  • Fantastic tent for camping!
I love this tent and was perfect for me, my Husband, and our Catahoula (100 lb) pup! The screen room was big enough for 2 anti gravity chair's and the pup to lie down. The screen bedroom was spacious. I'd say you can put 2 queen beds in there but we had a huge queen bed that was high off the ground, and the pup's bed next to ours! I'm 5' 10 and loved the fact I could stand straight up to change. We didn't experience any rain but had strong winds and it definitely held up. The draw back, directions aren't very clear....don't get frustrated the first time, it will all make sense when you're done and the second time will be a piece of cake. There are 6 little bags attached to the tent with 1 piece in each bag.......DO NOT REMOVE THE BAGS....KEEP THEM ATTACHED! I would definitely recommend this product! ... show more
