Got this FORDWALT Cordless Air Pump Air Duster for DeWalt 20V for use around a small homestead and small workshop. Design is mixed, blower tool itself is good, but the attachments are undersized which is bad design. Build quality is good, seems well made. Functionality is mixed. The blower tool has a lot of power in a small package, it produces an impressive jet of air stronger than most pneumatic blowers, also has good suction across the rear air intake, it's also surprisingly loud, and the speed control also works well. The attachment hoses and nozzles are mediocre, all are undersized so that the airflow performance is like a much smaller weaker tool, using any of them is sort of a severe downgrade instead of an improvement for a given task. Price point of $54.99 is higher than similar items, alright with the 10% coupon ($49.491), but most of those are smaller weaker tools, some are bulkier tools, this is far more powerful than its competitors (without attachments), I think it's a better value. When I first looked at this and pulled it out, it just seemed kind of a economy tool. My daughter was there and said what I was thinking, without me saying anything. Not saying that is bad, just saying that was my first impressions. But it is just an air inflator, not like it needs to be high quality. Descent fit and finish. I have other air compressors, but I thought this would be nice for it's portability and it is. It is light enough, even with a small capacity battery. Will be good for pumping up inflatables, or my grand kids small swimming pool. Comes with several attachments and a hose. Should fit most everything. There is a "Start" button on the base by the battery but it doesn't do anything, don't get what it is or why it's there. The instructions are okay, but they do not talk about the start button. Weird. Overall it's not bad, but one star off because the price seems kind of high for what it is, without a battery or charger, compared to what is out there. I leave it up to you. Being in the Dewalt system, anything I can get that works with my existing batteries is a plus. This little blow gun comes with an assortment of nozzles and tips and has multiple uses from blowing up pool floats, to cleaning off the work bench. For its size it puts out a high volume of air, it is pretty loud, but that's too be expected. I did have a little issue getting my batteries to fit on, but once I got it on it worked great. ... show more
