Purchased these bras for running and I'm so glad I did because I love them. Well made, soft material, and excellent support. I could do without the removable padding (easy fix), but I always wear a tank over them, so the padding is irrelevant for my use. If you wear a shirt over the bra, the zipper does create a bump that isn't very attractive but I'm more about comfort and fit at my age. If you wear the bra without a tank, that are very cute and look expensive. Easy to put on and take off, but the hooks aren't as easy as I thought they would be, maybe I just need to get used to the small cloth holders. I wear a 36B, 5'6" 160, athletic build and the medium fits great. I may have been able to swing a small, but the medium works and is comfortable. I like my bras tight for running and my chest doesn't move at all with this bra. Only washed once, in the washing machine (inside a protected bra bag) and the pads stayed in place. I definitely recommend these bras if you're looking for extra support or even just a cute work out outfit, especially for the price. ... show more

I love these and these are my third pair. My first pair was a little tight on my ribcage as I have arthritis, it hurts in the beginning of the day. So, I will go up an additional size again for the next one. That would be 2 sizes up from the original size I normally wear. The cups are fine, it's just the band tightness. They are very, very comfortable in every other way. I have to wear shorts performance style clothing at work and I am not bothered during the day with these bras like I am with a regular bra. First, mwashed (remove pads, zip it, non-hot water, low suds, non-harsh detergent) & it was fine. Second, wore this bra for entire, non-work out, low activity day & it was firmly (not softly) comfortable. Third, wore for 1-hr workout, incl. recumbent elliptical, several weight machines, & free weights. Very firm support, band didn't curl, bra didn't ride up, no "overspill" of breasts at top of bra. Not the most flattering under clothes as zipper is quite prominent; not "shapely.". Support yes, style not so much. Because it is such a strongly constructed bra, some may find it a bit difficult to zip up. Zipper locks securely; there's no cover for it at the top end. There are two hooks under zipper to provide extra security. I found it easier to first start the zipper & zip to the first hook (not a hook & eye), hook it, continue to zip to next hook, hook it, ,& then zip it closed, locking the zipper. I wanted a serious, secure, front-closure bra; maybe I got more than I needed in support. Like that the band doesn't curl or ride up. ... show more

The bottom part of the zipper is covered but not the top. In addition the zipper isn’t finished well at the top (on either side)- so my chest was severely chafed after 6 miles of running. The clips inside are small and take a little effort to get connected. I have short nails and found it difficult to last the metal clip through the loop. I can’t imagine how difficult it would be with long nails. It fits well, supportive (no bounce during an 18 mile run) and less expensive than competitors but it’s definitely not the same quality. ... show more

I have purchased several sports bras that were comfortable but didn't give support. One well-known brand is likely good but I purchased the larges size and it was too small, so keeping until I lose weight. I am short but have large breasts and wanted something that would flatten my chest so I look better in clothes. The crosss straps in back really help. The most important feature is the widish band around the rib cage that keeps the bra from rolling up. It's amazing. It doesn't really push the breasts toward the middle like some, it just flattens and holds. The two hooks are big and sturdy and the zipper was easy. I will buy again when I lose weight.
