  • Lovely Markers!
Color: Basic: Bright, Basic Colors and a Variet... Size: 36-markers
These are wonderful in a way that inspires me to draw more. The colors are vibrant and go on smooth. Blending is a breeze. I'm even using them in part of my work now, which says a lot since I've been primarily digital since I could hold a wacom pen. I bought this set after picking up the limited edition 36pc set about four months ago. There are no duplicates between the two sets. Pros: - Decent starter set in terms of price and color variety. - Has a nice variety of grays, which is good if that's what you tend to use. - Transparent, easy-access case that allows the markers to tempt me to draw more - provided I leave it in view. Cons: - Color assortment. You may or may not need more colors. For the work that I do, I use a variety of hues more than I use grays, so this would not work as a standalone set for me. If you want to buy only one set to start, but would prefer more colors than grays, check out the limited edition 36pc set. - Price. It's worth it so far though. I find it tremendously helpful to have tools that inspire me to draw more. No regrets here. ... show more

  • Excellent Markers, well worth the cost.
Color: Basic: Bright, Basic Colors and a Variet... Size: 36-markers
These are by far the best markers I have ever used. I waited a long time to purchase the Copic Markers because they are very expensive but it was worth the wait. Very clear coloring, nice blending and when they run out I know that I can refill them for a fraction of the cost of replacing them. The basic sketch set has a nice combination of colors and with a few additions from individual purchases I have enough markers to color the greeting cards I make. I had a small problem with the container they came in and Amazon immediately made an appropriate remedy as soon as I notified them. Love the markers and I love my Amazon prime. Knowing I can buy and item, like these Copics, and if I have any issues Amazon works to correct it with their with great customer service ... show more

  • These are the BEST art markers
Color: Basic: Bright, Basic Colors and a Variet... Size: 36-markers
These are the BEST art markers, ever! 1. Refillable nibs. 2. Refillable ink. 3. Quality is superb! Blends a lot better than other alcohol-based markers. 4. Pigment is divine, not as bright as Prismas, but just as good. 5. The Copic Sketches comes in all 358 colors! (I don't know of any other marker company that has this color range). 6. There's a brush tip! (The only nib I use) Yes, they're a bit pricey, but in the long run, they're totally worth it! No more buying new markers, all you have to do is buy refills and new nibs! ... show more

  • Love love love!
Color: Basic: Bright, Basic Colors and a Variet... Size: 36-markers
I love my markers so much. I use them so often and am willing to admit that I now have a Copic addiction. They work so smoothly and blend super well. I'm super glad that I got this pack to start my collection. Now I have about 80-90 markers and really need to stop buying them. It's hard when they work so well. The photo I posted is a drawing I did with copics- the colors in the drawing probably aren't all in the pack but I wanted to show the quality of the markers. If you're on the fence about it just know it is an investment and totally worth it if you use them often. I also love that they are refillable and you can replace the nibs and all that. Super useful and fun to use! ... show more

  • This is my first set of Copic markers.
Color: Basic: Bright, Basic Colors and a Variet... Size: 36-markers
I have to say, they are quite nice. There is a brush tip on one end, which I suspect people tend to use more, and a chisel tip on the opposite end. The oval shaped body appears to be optimal for holding, it was easy to get used to, although the body is different from the typical writing utensils and markers. Copic sketch markers are refillable, unlike some others. The markers were delivered on time and in perfect condition. Edit: I've tried other brands of alcohol based markers like Shinhan and Winsor & Newton, but Copics are still my favorite ... show more

  • AMAZING price, just make sure to be careful for bleeding.
Color: Basic: Bright, Basic Colors and a Variet... Size: 36-markers
I want to start by saying this same set of markers cost over $300 on the copic site, so this is a SCREAMING deal for a set of copics. They work beautifully. No dry or dead tips or ink cartridges, no odd repeats or misprints in the set, I got exactly what I wanted for half the price. The one thing I will say though is be -extremely- careful when using these. I'm not sure if it's because of how they were stored or if they were overfilled, but I'll be drawing and suddenly a bunch of ink will bleed into the nib and soak a part of my drawing. You just need to keep an eye on the nib though. If it starts looking shiny and saturated, pull that puppy off the paper, pull hold it vertical, and pull the cap off the other side till the ink soaks back in (only takes a few seconds). I've had a couple heartbreaks over that happening, but luckily have been able to work with it every time. Tends to happen to my darker tones. Outside of that, they work perfectly, and I couldn't be happier about this score. ... show more

  • There's a reason why...
Color: Basic: Bright, Basic Colors and a Variet... Size: 36-markers
Yep. Excellent marker. I was borderline on the expensive pens over the cheapo ones. There's a reason why people again and again turn to these markers. Exceptional quality. But you need to have the appropriate complement to the pen... what's that? The paper. So if you are testing out markers, make sure you have good quality paper as well. All markers bleed on crummy paper. Best about these pens is the broad tip and the brush tip - in addition to the color set. Super overall in color content for the set. I used this on a simple project for a birthday party. I wanted to do my own art for everything: internet, invitations, on-site decor. Spent a while looking for the right fit and ended up on these. ... show more

  • Best markers I've ever used
Color: Basic: Bright, Basic Colors and a Variet... Size: 36-markers
Nearest thing to water color but better. Better? Well, with these pens, if you make a mistake on your drawing, you can always go back and erase it. This type of pen though would be used on high grade tracing paper and not regular white paper. It doesn't work well on regular paper if you make a lot of mistakes. It is basically permanent on regular paper, but erasable on high grade tracing paper. These pens are also refillable, so you don't have to buy a new one all the time, the same with the nibs, they're also replaceable. My husband uses these on his illustrations and likes them a lot, I use them too for my little drawing hobbies. These are so high in demand, get them while you can. ... show more
