Shirt is soft to the skin and slightly stretchy. Color is a speckled texture with slightly lighter color bits in a overall mixed pattern. My wife wears usually a 4x depending on the cut and construction of the shirt or other garment so we ordered this in hopes it would be a loose fit for around the house. The purple color is nice, and the shirt itself arrives simply packaged in a plastic sleeve. No noticeable odd off putting odor when the bag is opened as has happened with some other products. Wife says that its comfy, and although a 5x a bit tight on the upper arms (to be fair, she does have larger upper biceps) so perhaps the manufacturer can take note of this for future production runs and make a larger armhole to account for this. Most women who need to order a 5x are not going to have skinny upper arms. It would also be nice if the sleeves themselves were slightly longer due to this issue. In general it fit around the bust and belly what I would consider a 5x fit with some looseness. Length in the back and front is a little shorter than she would usually wear, riding up over the wide hips and lower torso region, but not bad. A little more length might be an option (5xT) perhaps? But the proof of the pudding is in the inquiry "Do they have other colors?" which meant to me that she liked it well enough to want to order more. The around $20.00 price point as of Jan 2024 is very reasonable in my opinion for clothing suitable for a BBW and we will probably order the rose red and light blue variants ... show more

I was excited to receive this COOTRY athletic shirt, and disappointed that what I got was not at all what I had anticipated, when looking at the photos of the model. Based on my body measurements, 5'6", 167 pounds, 42" chest (and a very wide back) I ordered a 1XL, according to the chart. I thought it would be form-fitting-ish, but not tight. A gentle athletic cut for larger female bodies. What I received was a gigantic shirt (that's me in the shirt, first 2 photos) that absolutely dwarfs me. I can't see any resemblance to the seller's photos, other than the fabric: a nice, vibrant, silky, multi-colored rose with overstitching. In the last photo, that is also me, in a nondescript athletic shirt, just to show you what type of body shape I have as a 1XL, and how the COOTRY shirt I received is so very unflattering. I'd like to give it 5 stars for quality - if it were considerably smaller and tapered a bit more, and 3 stars for design; hence, a 4. So my suggestion is to go down at least one size, maybe even two. ... show more

So I enjoy the feel of this shirt, the length, and the stretchiness. Only problem I had is the sleeves - they bunched up each time I tried to do a move in yoga. So it could be a good fit for others, but not really for me.

    • Soft and stetchy, with a loose fit
This shirt is nice and comfortable for working out or just everyday wear around the house. I chose the blue one and it is a nice heathered turquoise blue. The fabric is like a Dri-Fit athletic type fabric, it has some stretch and is soft but it is not that ultra-thin, ultra strethcy type of fabric; I'd say it is medium thickness for a t-shirt and it does have plenty of stretch. The fit is loose. I like my t-shirts extra loose and oversized, so I went up a size because I have a chubby tummy and don't like fitted shirts that call attention to it. I also like shirts that cover my booty when I wear leggings, so the extra looseness of going up a size worked out, as did the little bit of extra length. This shirt is so easy to throw on for a day of house-cleaning, excercising, working in the yard or even running some errands. It is also easy to wash, just throw it in the machine and then into the dryer. It comes out like new with no shrinking, fading or pilling. I will wear this shirt again and again on those days I am at home doing housework or out getting groceries, and it's perfect if I am able to sneak in a walk or a jog as well. ... show more
