I’m 6’ and have broad shoulders and a large chest, and this wrap easily covers me up. I have an autoimmune disorder that causes me to react to just about anything, and am on medication that makes it difficult for me to be in the sun (I turn bright red and become almost feverish, and one of my medications (Tacrolimus ointment) makes me more susceptible to skin cancer. I cannot sing enough praise for this wrap! I wear it anytime I have to go out as a top layer to protect any exposed skin. I can now go outside when necessary in sunny 90 degree Florida weather without developing a rash and It gives me a versatile, comfortable, and attractive way to protect my skin and hide my surgical scars. I have received many compliments about it, rather than the odd or concerned looks I’ve received in the past due to my really nasty photosensitivity rash and angry scars. It’s very well made and I can easily pull it out as a lightweight shawl in the evenings and it transitions from casual day wear to more formal attire incredibly well. It also lets me go braless when I’m having tests or when my skin is so inflamed I cannot wear one. I am slowly buying it in every color. I took this to Europe last month. I originally bought it to just cover my arms in the sun but it proved to be WAY more than that. It was so hot that I wet the middle of it and draped it over my head!! It kept me ice cold all day. I also used it as my bathing suit cover up.

I purchased a lot before going to Europe. This was one of the best purchases. There were several days we were on beaches and would have to take an hour to two long ferry back to where our hotel was. Sometimes you just need a little something on your legs or around your shoulders. And merino is too hot for the summer, and you loathe synthetic fabrics. This wrap is the winner. Soft, large, and definitely protects against the sun.
