I feel bad giving this product a low review, because the presentation is superb. The devices that come with the kit are high quality and easy to use. The patterns are attractive, and the activity feels fun to perform. But, it simply doesn't work. The polish that comes with the kit is too sticky, and does not catch the pattern properly. My daughter and I experimented for a long while, and we could not get a single nail finished. And if you use regular nail polish, the patterns won't stick at all. Fortunately, my daughter can still use the devices for imagination play with her dolls, but overall the kit is a bust. ... show more

Great starter nail set for kids. It actually works better than you think it would. The only issue we have with it is that you have to use the proprietary nail polish, but I guess that's understandable.

    • Bad nail polish makes the whole kit a bummer :(
This polish doesn't work well at all, what a bummer when the rest of the features are so cool. The polish is tacky and sticky feeling and doesn't dry properly, which means the stamps don't work well either. If you're on the fence, be sure to check out the other reviews mentioning the same thing.

This kit is a disaster. Not user friendly at all. The nail color doesn’t work because of the weird applicator. The stamps neither worked. Wasteful purchase. Would not recommend at at all.

My daughter loved it. This is great for little girls up to maybe 10 yrs old. They will have lots of fun with it. My daughter loved all the designs and things she could do with it.     • Create some really fun and cute manicures after a little practice
We have tried many manicure kits over the past few years. Some are great, some are pure junk! This one is quite different from others that we have tried. I felt that it really offered something that other sets that we have tried didn't. In the box, you receive a nail stamper, nail mask, 4 design cartridges, 2 easy-paint nail polish applicators (pink and purple), a cartridge holder, clear top coat, and instructions. There are 4 designs to choose from - hearts, flowers, smiley faces, and butterflies. All of them are really cute and girly! :) Little ones will DEFINITELY need help from a parent with this. It isn't necessarily user friendly for younger kids. (or even parents sometimes) Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty fun and you can create some really colorful, cute designs! To use it, you just pop a cartridge into the machine, put your finger into the machine, and use the polish applicators to paint your nail. The unique silicone design is supposed to keep the nail polish off your skin and only on your nail, giving it a more finished look. After 4 minutes or so of drying time, the polish will be a bit tacky which is what you want! Insert a finger into the stamper and press down. (this takes some practice to get it just right) Finish with top coat and you are good to go! Our main issue is that the silicone doesn't always prevent nail polish from escaping underneath and onto your skin. A LOT of nail polish is deposited and most of the time, it is way too much. The stamper doesn't always stamp either which can be frustrating. It just doesn't stick. I would say that we had about a 75% success rate overall. The more we played around with it, the better the finished manicures were. ... show more
