These shoes are really great. The insole is super soft and comfortable. The treads are sticky and not like normal Converse. There is a softer lining in the shoe so the canvas won’t rub on your foot directly. However, I found the sides did rub my ankles a bit so I ended up wearing socks. But over time, I imagine the sides will soften up. I normally wear an 8M, but got 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly. Great shoe. Great price. Super cute. Get them :) ... show more

I got these for teaching and concert attire. They are super comfortable! The material feels like really good quality; not cheap or thin. If high tops aren’t your thing because of the tightness around your ankles, then these are not for you, but they are really good quality. These are the third pair I've had, my everyday shoe. They are super comfortable and supportive. The tread makes them good for all weather. I use one of my old ratty pairs as my hiking shoes even, if that's any indication of their durability and comfort. The platform is a good height, not too tall but still provides lift. Since they're my most commonly worn shoe I go through them quicker than your average person, my bony ankles have ruined almost every pair of shoes I've ever bought too. These Chucks are great! If you want something that is: 1) Different than the standard everyone has 2) Gives more of an elevated look and flair. It is literally elevated as well. :) 3) Is designed for active use Then, this is a shoe you should check out. I like that I can wear a fashionable shoe that is lightweight, super comfortable (great cushion) and made for walking. Beyond just being comfortable, they have more spring and flexibility than when I wear my work style boots. I bought my regular size that I wear in boots and they fit perfectly. I loved them so much, I bought both black and white. The only thing I wish was done differently is the tan, rubber tread at the front of the shoe. Would have looked better in black and matched the heel tread instead. Love the star on the back of the heel! ... show more

I saw these platforms on a male reality TV celeb this season, in white, and had to have them.. I got the peach. They are exactly that, peach. I normally wear a size 10 1/2 Wide Women's. I got these in a 9 Men/10 1/2 Women and prayed they'd be wide enough in the toe box because my memories of unisex Converse were that they were a little narrow.. Not these, they have plenty of toe box room and even enough heel room that I can wear sport socks or Bombas socks with them. Yay! Also they look heavy and huge out of the box, but as soon as you put them on they look normal sized and really cool on your feet. The best part is how on trend they are for the summer. I ordered a pair of peach colored wide leg jeans from Old Navy to wear with them and I am going to look so fly dropping my kid off at graduate school at Ohio State. I can't wait! I got these in a great sale and had shopped around for Doc Martens and similar chunky boot looks to go with wide leg jeans, but these just made way more sense for the summer and were a great value for the money. Update: I'm still loving them. My mom loves them. My husband loves them and wanted some of his own because I'm taller than him in mine. I bought these in black for my husband for his birthday and he's over the moon excited wearing them. The middle school students he teaches think he's the Professor of Cool wearing them. Oh my! I love these shoes. They are even better than i anticipated. I usually wear a 7 1/2-8. I ordered an 8 and it’s a perfect fit. Any smaller and I would have needed a bigger size. Awesome sneakers I love these bought 0.5 size larger as the run small. They are very comfortable and trendy. Only issue is they came scuffed. Will definitely buy another colour.
