I have always loved ghost type Pokémon so I decided to look through Amazon for a controller that had this theme. This was the only controller that looked cool (the other option was a weird controller that loosely resembled a gengar, it looked cursed). For this controller, however, the art looks really cool, the buttons are fully functional, and it feels comfortable even after gaming for hours on end. Nice quality, I love the feel and design and the lights are a nice feature but I haven't been able to figure out how to switch colors and patterns. I have had it randomly start moving in game but I turn it off and back on and it fixes it

My son used this controller for two hours after it arrived on our doorstep. In his words, "this controller is fire!" This controller is really smooth, connected very easily to our switch, and works as well as the original Nintendo controllers that we have. The lights are really fun. My other switch controllers were on the fritz so I ordered this one and to my surprise it is a Pokemon one. The listing photos omit that probably due to copyright issues but it was a neat surprise. -It came in very well packaged and in perfect shape. -The instructions were unnecessarily complicated, literally plug it into your switch and it will pair. -The feel of the controller is very nice with a slight texture to help with grip. -The feel of it is nice and definitely easy on the hands for extended playing. -The lighting feature is a neat feature that works great. -The battery life lasts at least as long as stated so far. -All the buttons are smooth and don’t stick or lag. -The joysticks are also smooth and have no issues. -Response time (from when you put a button to when it happens) is instant or pretty close. I ordered the "Controller for Nintendo Switch/OLED/Lite, Wireless Pro Switch Controller with LED Joystick/Motion/Vibration/Turbo/Wake up." When I ordered the controller, the photos just showed the purple flames, and as my teen loves purple I had to get it for him for his birthday. When we opened the package, I'd never seen him react so excitedly about a present. It turned out that there was artwork on it too. The artwork was of his favorite pokemon, and this really gave both of us a happy surprise! He has absolutely no complaints about how the controller works. He quickly figured out how to change the settings and strength of the vibration and lights. (The joysticks are underlit at the base.) He uses it with his PC and his Switch. ... show more

This wireless controller is a nice upgrade over my Logitec wired controller. Even though the controller (and the instructions) are intended to be used with a Switch device, it can be paired with other devices too (e.g,. PCs or an iPhone and Android phone or table), it was easy to get paired with my PC. I used the keypress options for pairing with iOS (Y and Synch buttons) and it connected to my PC. Overall, the controller feels good in my hands. The surface has a matte finish which I like. I think the designs on the controller itself look pretty cool too. I also really like the LED lights under the joystick. On the underside of the controller, there are two buttons that can be used to change the LEDs and rumble/vibration of the controller. One minor annoyance was that the controller comes pre-set in Lock Mode. To exit Lock Mode, you must first fully charge the controller. You have to exit Lock Mode before for the button on the controller to work. So, you will have to charge the controller for a little while before using it the first time. Lock Mode turns off all the buttons, they say, to conserve battery power so that touching the buttons won't accidentally turn on the controller and use up the power. If necessary, Lock Mode can be re-engaged by pressing and holding the Left Button (L1) and Joystick Button (L3) for 3 seconds and then pressing the Synch button to turn off the device. Afterwards, the controller has to be plugged into a charger to disengage Lock Mode again. The other thing I did not enjoy about this controller is the instruction manual. First, the text is extremely small and hard. Second, the English text is not always easy to understand. I have to re-read sections a couple of time to understand the instruction for how to do some things. And lastly, the instructions include a diagram with labels for all the part of the controller, but then later in the instructions for doing things (such as changing the LED settings), they use a different label. In the diagram, they identify Left Joystick and Right Joystick but in the instructions they refer to the an L3 and R3. Also, in the diagram, the small button on the front of the controller is labeled the Synch button, but in the instructions for pairing the controller to other devices it is referred to as the Docking button. ... show more
