  • Great product, performs as expected
This is as expected. Product is still going strong. The compact size is very convenient. Price point was perfect for product. The connections for pro controllers seemed a bit questionable at first but after multiple months of use this unit still works the same as the day of first use. Word to the wise, do not connect to the Switch dock USB connections. Switch must be docked for power to flow to charging unit, and sometimes when the docked Switch goes to sleep the charging unit stops charging. Use a dedicated 5V .5-3 amp wall charger and you should not have any issue. ... show more

  • Can finally charge all my controllers at once
To start. I did NOT get this for free. I found this item looking for a multiple charger for all my controllers. This can do 4 joycons and 2 pro controllers. I have 4 joycons and 1 pro controller. Despite me giving it 5 stars it still has some flaws. But not enough to warrant less stars. It comes with a type c usb cord which is nice. But would have been better if it was one you plug into the wall. Instead I'm using the cord that came with my pro controller since it's longer and already plugged into the USB on my switch. And here's the next downfall. The port you plug the usb c end in is very loose. If you accidentally knock it or something then it won't be charging. You'll know if it's on though because of the led tubes. They'll always be lit green. If you plug in a joycon then it'll turn red which means it's charging. One thing to note is that the joycons have to be facing opposite each other. So they're back to back. Otherwise it won't be charging. You'll hear a slight click which means you placed it right. If you don't, you're facing it the wrong way. The charging on the pro controller there's a green light that'll turn off when it's done charging. And to know for sure if things are charging then go into the controller setting on the switch and turn on all your controllers so they're up on the screen. You'll then know if they're charging or charged. ... show more

  • Great for charging multiple controllers, if you don't mind the bright green bars
I used to have a Power A device for charging one of my Switch Pro Controllers and a set of Joy-Cons. Unfortunately, I lost the tiny dongle that was needed to charge the Pro Controller and their customer service does not offer replacement parts. I thought it would be great to purchase this product instead as recommended by IGN. What I like about this product is that it's easy to use — just plug it into a USB port, like one easily available on the Switch Dock and you're good to go! The connector for the Pro controllers is part of the device, so you don't need to worry about losing a separate piece or accessory. Just be mindful of how you're lifting the pro controller when you're ready to use it — go straight up, not any other angle or you could risk damaging the connector over time. The joy-cons are also easy to charge, you have four vertical bars that serve as guidelines for sliding in the joy-cons. It's easy to instinctively have two sets of joy-cons connecting with the buttons facing towards you, but the rear set of joy-cons need to face the opposite direction in order to charge properly. This is mentioned in their instructions as well! My main criticism is that the four vertical bars have a bright green light, even when not in use. It's really distracting, especially when playing video games at night. If the product simply had zero lights emitting when controllers aren't connected, then emit red or green when a controller is connected, I would have given it five stars. Unfortunately, you have the benefit of charging multiple controllers with the tradeoff of an eyesore. ... show more

  • 6 in 1 is over selling it a tad. You can charge 2 sets of JoyCons & 2 Pro controllers..
Works as designed, I'm using a standard dual USB wall charger with 2.4a out each port (wall charger not included with dock) My son can keep all four of his controllers charged with a single Dock. I like how the JoyCon docking options have the translucent plastic support piece that gives you a clear visual aid if the controller is charging and charged. As for the 2 Pro docks, you need to be ontop of the device to see the green indicator light :( The only thing that would make this better, for me, is if the joycon support docks could fold flat. We did some traveling and while packing up his switch gear, I realized we had to be extra careful as it doesn't travel well. Having it collapse would save a ton of space in your bag and help keep it from breaking. I do like the lifetime warranty as if this company doesn't support it, Amazon usually does. PS - There is alot of talk regarding the Switch and using proper charging systems. While this is not endorsed by Nintendo, I dont feel I have anything to worry about. The bigger problem seems to be the Switch itself and not of the accessories. I dont feel I have to worry about this "bricking" my controllers. I do however use official Nintendo licensed chargers for the switch dock and portable usb power bank. ... show more

  • Doesn’t charge- look at reviews
I purchased this thinking it would work out. It’s nice and all except it only charged the joy cons and not the pro controllers. Upon ordering this and using this for a few weeks, I went back and read reviews and many customers said the charging doesn’t work. Some said the pro controllers charged and the joy cons didn’t. This is opposite of my experience so I’m guessing that the charging capabilities are problematic all around. Don’t purchase it was a waste of money ... show more

  • Charging issue
Charges normal controllers in the middle just fine but it won’t charge my pro controller no matter how long I leave it there. That’s my only issue with it because that’s what I initially purchased it to charge mainly. Could have just been a defective unit. I do like that the charging port glows though in the center. ... show more
