  • Ergonomics are good except the thumb buttons.
My hand rests really nicely across this whole mouse when tilted at about 40 degree angle.. Problem is, when all the fingers and thumb are in their most comfortable position, the forward/back thumb buttons are way too far back, so I have to make an awkward steep bend of the thumb to reach back to press them (back especially, which is the button I use the most). The scroll wheel is like this to a lesser degree, just slightly too far back, which forces more bend in my pointer finger, which is part of the reason I wanted a tilted ergo mouse in the first place to avoid having to lift and bend my fingers as much. Weight is good, as long as you don't need to lift the mouse off the pad. Is a bit interesting using ring finger to press right mouse button but I got used to it pretty quick. Because the scroll wheel feels a little out of position I've been using the middle button to activate the sticky smooth scroll feature a lot. ... show more

  • extremely adjustable
very adjustable, just dont use it for gaming lol. the presets are a bit odd (your middle finger is middle click instead of being a right click), and the button combo needed to change them (hardwired presets) is EXTREMELY specific in its timeing. for what i needed it wont work, but if you just need a mouse to use the computer casually, browse the internet, etc. it would work great. no slipping issues due to said adjustablity, and for the casual user who doesnt need to right click rapidly (the right click button is on your ring finger) the three big butttons wont be that much to adjust to. side note: my scroll wheel did completly stop responding after about 1 hour of use, but i would guess thats more of a fluke than a regular feature. ... show more

  • IF YOU ARE A POWER USER AND HAVE LARGE HANDS, THIS IS A BUY
Plus Side: The plus-side features far outweigh the negatives. (Yes, I suggest it’s worth buying) Once properly (for you) fitted, it’s more comfortable and easier to use than a regular mouse. It has more functions than a regular mouse. Buttons are all mappable. Ergonomic adjustments maintain their position (once properly fitted to your hand). It works well with Win-7. It works well with Linux Mint O/S. I’ve not tested, but likely it works well with someone who uses Win 10. The overall quality of the hardware seems satisfactory. I have a glass desktop, and unlike a normal laser mouse, the Unimouse works without a pad. Negative Side: The overall size works better for large hands than for small hands. Instructions are both confusing and lacking. (Example) After remapping the buttons, it is necessary to eject and remove the dongle, then plug it back in for it to accept the new functions. Nowhere do the instructions say this. You need to go to their website and download & install the full driver (but it’s worth doing so) While it works well with Linux, its mapping doesn’t always translate perfectly. The “click” is too loud. It’s good to hear a click in order to know you did something, but the whole room doesn’t need to hear it. It does take some time for your hand and hand motions to acclimate to the new style and new buttons. But again, it’s well worth continuing to test it out for several days rather than rejecting the new feel of it. Like any ergonomic tool, once you get used to it, it’s hard to go back. So if you work with more than one computer, or with computers of associates, you may have to buy more than one of these. A regular mouse feels ridiculous after having gotten used to the Unimouse. Conversely, if you have another or others who sometimes sit and use your computer, you may want to have a regular mouse plugged in and ready for them to use. ... show more

  • Great adjustability and long battery life
Have been using this mouse for 2 years. For the most part, this mouse has held up and has helped a lot with my hand pain. The battery life is excellent and I don't have to charge it for weeks. The only part that hasn't held up is the rubber grip on the right side, which has gotten loose and peeled off. But other than that, it is an excellent ergonomic mouse. ... show more

  • Great mouse, slightly awkward forward / back buttons
So, first, the only thing I really wish was different: this is wireless with dongle, not wireless with Bluetooth. But it doesn't claim to be otherwise, so can't hold that against it. As is, I primarily use it as a wired, but it's a nice potential option for if it should come up. Ergonomics are great, just about infinitely adjustable, really like it, even the center wheel: except for the side forward and back buttons. Now, I generally don't use those (actually disabled them), but if I did want to use them, they would be extremely awkwardly placed. They seem way too far back, and given how the thumb rest is adjustable, it would have been nice if they could have been incorporated into the thumb rest itself, as there's often a lot of distance between my thumb and those buttons now. The customization program: I actually liked it. Seemed usable enough, if not "pretty". I was able to set my sensitivity to where I wanted it, make the third button a triple click (I often have to select blocks of text for work, real time saver there) and disable the pesky side buttons to prevent accidental use, so it's fine for me. But I have a misty half-remembered fondness for DOS Shell, so I might be broken inside. ... show more

  • The best mouse I've found for hand grip customization.
PROS : -easy to mold this mouse to exactly fit your hand position -lots of pointer speed options CONS: -the Contour software. It's buggy and I often have to remove and re-insert the USB receiver to get the computer to register the mouse again after a reboot.
