My wife found this for me for Christmas a couple years back after I provided my requirements. I think I had a few: 1. must have a handle, preferably open 2. NOT fat like a stanley 3. fits in the car cup holder 4. never spills when I knock it over near my keyboard and books, or other peoples laps 5. holds at least 2 cups This mug nails it. One of the mugs I bought here on Amazon did not have the O-Ring seal installed correctly, and the cap was screwed down tight. As such it deformed the O-Ring, and that mug has never worked right. To avoid it being a drool-mug, I have to crank the cap down very tight. Someday I'm sure I'll end up purchasing a replacement seal for it. The mug is airtight, which is a blessing for someone who rushes out the door with 20 things in my hands every morning. It also holds enough coffee to avoid refills. Did I mention the coffee stays hot for hours? I sometimes have to take the top off to let my coffee cool down an hour after getting to work lol. I don't even consider other brands of mugs anymore. Bought this one to replace the old version of the same mug, which has served me well for almost 10 years now, and is still a great mug. I've had issues with other mugs leaking after a few months or not holding the heat. This cup does both. I've taken this with me on several road trips and use it every day at home as well. My husband really likes this cup, it keeps his coffee hot for quite a while. The only problem is the handle. This is our 4th one and the handle keeps falling off. I was hoping this one would last a little longer but the handle is already pretty loose and feels like it may fall off soon. Its not like he is rough with it either. They are just a bad design of the handle. We just got this one in I think June and it wont last much longer. Time to find a new brand. ... show more
