I know they say you shouldn't put carbonated beverages into these cups, but really - what else is there!! I've been very satisfied with these. They keep a beer cold easily for 2+ hours (and who really takes that much time). They also keep ice in water for a good 10 to 12 hours. They are easy to clean. I do not put them in the dishwasher. They do not leak. Just remember to always close the flip top. We've made the mistake of leaving it open, and knocking the cup over. It will leak then! ... show more

First of all, what I like best about them is they don't leak. You can put them in a backpack, upside down, shake them, not one drop will come out. And they're easy enough to open and drink out of. However, the different products within the Byron line have different insulation. The 20oz double pack doesn't hold heat well at all (tea is cool within 2 hours). The 24oz bottle in sake color keeps the tea hot for more than 4 hours left outside at ~40°F. I wish I had known that before I bought the double pack. ... show more

It keeps hot drinks hit and cold drinks cold... as long as u seal the lid...thoooo warning....one time I put coffee in it...and I screwed on the lid... opened up the spout..and pressure blew steam/mist out of it ( deff an dumb move on my part) .. so...now I always open up the spout before screwing on lid..lesson learned lol ... show more

I like Rtic brands but they don't have a decent top. Yeti is too expensive. This does the job very well. In manufacturing environment, you need someone that is spill proof (as long as you remember to close the lid). The tumbler on the left is about seven yrs old and still works very well. The gasket came a little loose and I wanted one that looked nice a work. I have drop this tumbler with a full cup of coffee inside on the meeting floor and there was not leakage. I have showed my coworkers, it being up side down with a full cup of coffee and it had no leakage. It's the one to have if leakage is a concern. ... show more

I didn't quite understand what was going on with the top when I bought this, but now that I've been using it a bit it's a really clever design that I haven't seen anywhere else. First of all, when closed, it is absolutely water-tight. You can tip it upside down and back and not a drop escapes. Then when you open it and tip it, it allows just a little liquid into the sip area and it's easy to control that so you don't end up wearing what you're drinking. Great for sipping in the car without any mishaps. Needless to say it keeps drinks hot or cold for a hours - and that's a primary deal right there. Being able to sip on hot coffee for hours is really nice. And the grip that's built-in to the body makes for easy handling and no slips. Very well thought out. Keeps my coffee and tea hot for hours and doesn't leak. At first I was confused because there wasn't a straw hole and the lid didn't lift completely but then I figured it out. Open the lid and the coffee flows at a small enough amount that no straw is needed. I will be purchasing it again.
