These are beautifully-made colorful toy trucks with very durable plastic. My four-year-old son wanted some new mid-size construction vehicles and has enjoyed these a lot. They have moving parts, really nice rubber wheels, and a push-and-go system using friction. We got these primarily for use in our sandbox. The scoops and buckets work great for the sand. However I feel like some of the other features are better suited for indoors, and may not longer work once you begin sand usage. There are a lot of small inner cavities in the trucks which collect sand, and once the sand gets into the gears, it prevents the friction-based push-and-go system. The rubber tires also feel a bit too nice for the sandbox. The ABS plastic is great though, so far I don't notice any scratches, weaknesses or loss of color. (We don't leave them exposed to sun) My son (4) was a little rough with the angle of the crane and the crane parts did separate a few times but it was able to be reattached. Overall these are super nice, they almost feel a little too nice for the sandbox. I think you need to choose either indoor OR outdoor use, because once you start sandbox use you prevent the push feature and start spreading sand everywhere as it spills from the inside. ... show more

Very well made toy vehicles. Each one has a moving part that makes it more fun in the sandbox. My grandson loves them . They are a much heavier plastic than most play cars this size.
