Purchased this cover after recently purchasing a 10' offset umbrella. Figured I'd protect it from sun and birds. It's pretty much a big plastic bag. It's HUGE. My 10' umbrella is a good 8 feet to the top of the pole when closed and this thing still hangs on the ground. It doesn't come with a "lift rod" or "push rod" as some of the others do, so you'll need a stepladder to climb up and get this over the top of the pole, or use a stick of some kind. It also has no wrap or tie in the center, like some others do. It flaps in the wind and makes a crazy loud racket (It's just thin plastic) so I had to use a separate cord to tie it in the middle. It was cheap to purchase, and I should know you get you what you pay for. It covers the umbrella. More than that? Not really. ... show more

For the price it works well so far. I keep it covered went not in use. Sun seems to have faded the light beige already but, not surprising. It's on our dock and used daily for 3 weeks. Holds up to 10 mph wind alright. I doubt I'll get 2 full season because of the extreme environment, but that's fine. Needed immediate shade and this worked. ... show more
