I run 30-35 miles per week and at least one half marathon per month. I will wear shorts until it gets under 30 degrees. I bought a pair of these to try for the colder winter temperatures, and they are a new favorite. Pockets on each side to hold phone, gels, etc. The fabric is very soft and wicks sweat pretty good for a heavy sweater like me. I typically don't like feeling the restriction of leggings when I run, but these barely felt like I was wearing leggings (other than keeping me warm). High rise is perfect and the waist band stays in place. Absolutely no chafing, which can be a problem for me. I ordered a size small, and am 5'4," 135lbs and muscular. Fit true to size! I love these leggings. I’m 5’2” and 155lbs with an athletic build and am currently a m/l in bottoms. I decided to go up to a large in these with hopes that my legs will have some room to grow, and the size is fantastic. I’d say they’re TTS. The color is beautiful and the material is nice. The fit, compression and comfort of these leggings is better than any other in my closet. I bought my wife a similar pair costing over $100 from a high end retailer, and honestly these are every bit as good, at a fraction of the cost. I prefer the stronger compression of yoga leggings for women, but they don't always fit as well as these. With a long shirt or a pair of shorts over them these work great, don't slip down and perform perfectly before, during and after my workout. ... show more

These black leggings are very soft but they aren’t the matte black buttery soft legging I was hoping for. They have a good amount of support but I was hoping for a slightly thicker legging with a little more hug. They are on the thinner side but not see through.
