  • LOVE these! Seamless Waistband!
(Sorry that one picture is out of order - I uploaded them in order, and they're in order when I go to edit the review, but for some reason they're displaying differently on the product page! Also, trying a new thing where I capitalize the details I find most important to help those searching for answers within the reviews.) I purchased 3 pairs of these in different patterns (Black & White Brush Strokes, Deep Grey Camo, and Splinter Camo), all in size medium, and feel they are TRUE TO SIZE. I could have gotten away with size large if I wanted something less compressive, and because I'm a little thicker lately, but medium is still comfortable. I didn't notice any differences in fit or material between the different patterns. For reference, I'm a medium in pretty much every single legging brand I've tried (6 in Aligns, 8 in WU) and my current measurements are about 41-31-42 (bust-waist-hip). As for height, I'm about 5'3". As for the fabric, I find them to be VERY SLIGHTLY COMPRESSIVE but still super COMFORTABLE. As the description says, they're like a "gentle hug", so you shouldn't buy these expecting anything more. I'm currently lounging in a pair and have zero complaints. You could possibly size down if you want a more compressive feel, but on certain patterns you may find it distorts them or sheers out due to the extra stretching, especially the lighter pairs. If you're familiar with Lululemon, I'd say the fabric is sort of like somewhere between Nulu and Luxtreme; soft, brushed, and comfortable like Nulu, but a little more compressive, sturdy, and pill resistant like Luxtreme. It is a BRUSHED MATERIAL, so if you're looking for something slick that doesn't hold onto things like lint or sweat (or pet hair), these probably aren't for you. I imagine sweat would take a little while to dry as well. On that note, these are made of a THICKER FABRIC so are warmer and heavier than Aligns, but they're still not hot or uncomfortably heavy. Due to that, they don't feel like second skin like Aligns, so I don't agree that these are a dupe. In looks, maybe, but not feel. I just don't know if I'd recommend them for an intense outdoor workout in the high heat since they won't be as breathable as a lighter pair, but I live in Texas and was just as comfortable running around outside in these as I was in my other favorite legging brands (P'tula, Lulu, Yogalicious Lux). Most gyms are fairly chilly anyway! It just depends on your preference and if you are looking for a naked feel or something a bit heavier. Heavier means more durable, so I find these more suitable for the gym than Aligns. As for construction, all of the seams looked great on my 3 pairs and I didn't notice any sizing discrepancies between the different patterns/colors (sometimes darker colors are tighter because of the dye, which wasn't the case with these). They do have a CROTCH GUSSET that help eliminate camel toe, but every body is different, so keep that in mind! They also have a HIDDEN POCKET on the inside of the waistband. I personally prefer no pocket there because I hate seeing the outline through the pants, but considering some people find it useful, I understand why it's included. It's basically the same standard thing you see in most leggings and will fit a card and/or key. As for the patterns, my 3 pairs are all really good looking and SQUAT PROOF! I've reviewed lots of other leggings on and off Amazon and I'm SUPER picky about that and don't put up with sheerness. I actually purchased a black pair of the Colorfulkoala leggings with the pockets (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G55R2LB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and had to return them because they were so sheer, so I was relieved to see that wasn't an issue with these. You can check out my review on those as well. That is one big plus with patterns is that it's much harder to see any sheerness since the pattern general helps disguise what is underneath, including cellulite. The black and white brush stroke pair is white on the inside so turns a little white while squatting, but the two camo pairs are dark on the inside and look opaque in a full squat. As for the fit, they are so flattering! I love the slight V to the back of the waistband because it really accentuates your butt. The WAISTBAND is SEAMLESS (as in there is not an elastic band around the top - YAY!) and does a good job of smoothing your stomach out (remember, these aren't the most compressive). I have not worked out in any of mine yet, but I didn't notice them slipping down much the multiple days I've worn them running around. As for the length, I should mention these are LONG on me had a lot of extra fabric at the bottom, but since I'm fairly short, I'm used to it and don't really mind. I posted a picture of my ankle to show how they bunch on me. If you're a taller gal, you're in luck! I would still love to see them come out with a 7/8 length or choice of inseams for us shorties, but hey, I could always get them altered. Overall, for the price I think these are awesome. I wish they were slightly cheaper, but I don't think $30 is too bad. I don't think I'd get any solid colors after the bad experience I had with the pockets version, but if I find another pair of these in a pattern I love, I'll definitely be snatching them up! I hope they keep coming out with more. I'm eyeballing the two leopard prints and the new green camo prints, so if I snag any of them, I'll update with new pictures. ... show more

  • YES, you need these!
Color: Army Green Camo Size: Small
If you're tall, enjoy compression, want to hide cellulite and sweat, and like your leggings to cover your belly button, these are the leggings for you!! Length -- The inseam on these leggings is 28". For reference, the traditional 7/8 length lululemon aligns everyone wears have a 25" inseam. Lulu also sells aligns in a 28" inseam, but those aren't as popular. You can compare the photos on their website for reference. These are definitely loooooong! I'm 5'6 and I don't mind the length, but I either have to fold the bottoms or bunch them up behind my knees quite a bit to get the 7/8th length I prefer (see attached photos for reference). So if you're tall or like full length leggings, these will be perfect for you! But if you're shorter, you might end up wanting them hemmed. These are full length on me at 5'6, so I'd assume they'd be around full length for anyone 5'5-5'8, and 7/8th for those a bit taller. Dupe or duped? -- For those saying these are a dupe for the camo lulu aligns... yes and no. Appearance wise, they're pretty dang close. But the fabric is much more compressive and performance slick feel than the buttery soft nulu fabric that aligns are made of. I would NOT call these a second skin or naked feeling like aligns. These are way too compressive and molding for that. A second skin legging wouldn't compress you or hide cellulite. The fabric is like if you crossed lululemon luxtreme and luon together. Slick like luxtreme, but thicker/more compressive like luon (not as thin and stretchy as luxtreme). Those are winder under materials. That being said, these are still thin leggings, definitely not super thick winter leggings or anything of that nature. Rise -- these are HIGH rise, and they are even slightly higher in the back than in the front, which is really beneficial for bending, squatting, etc. I've had two kids and I have a belly button piercing so I have an extra belly button now 🤣. Most "high rise" leggings cover my real belly button but not my naval piercing. These go about an inch above my piercing. So awesome if you also have two belly buttons or just prefer your leggings high. Cellulite/sweat -- If you're someone that likes to hide your cellulite, tattoos, underwear, whatever, and don't like looking like you peed yourself, these will be your jam. These hide cellulite and sweat better than ANY leggings I own, and I have tried seriously every brand you can think of. At the same time, they're sweat wicking and breathable. Sizing -- if you're in between sizes like me, maybe order two to try. I'm a medium 80% of the time, especially in popular athletic brands like alphalete or P'tula. I hover between a 6 and an 8 in everything. My waist is a traditional 6 but my thighs are an 8 and my glutes are a 10+. In these, I tried the mediums first. Though they were compressive, there was just too much extra fabric and the waist was way too loose. I had to hike them up so high that they gave me a cameltoe from hell. I repurchased in a small, and they're a much better fit. They stay in place on my waist now and the cameltoe is minimal/rare. They're a teeny bit more compressive on my legs and glutes than I personally prefer, but I'm the type of girl that likes naked feeling leggings. For reference, the smallest part of my waist is 28", my glutes are 42" and my thighs are 23"-24". These will definitely suck your waist in but might cause a bit of a roll situation when seated if you're in between sizes like me! I don't mind it for cardio but these wouldn't be my pick for an airplane or long car ride like aligns would be. Would I recommend these? 1000%! For me, they'll be my last pick for lifting days because I don't like anything compressive when I'm lifting. If I'm doing cardio, HIIT or kickboxing though, these will be my first pick. You definitely should have at least one pair in your closet. Depending on your preferences and how you like leggings to fit/feel, these very well might be your go-to leggings. But even if they don't end up being your go-to, they definitely have a place in your workout wardrobe. I'll be purchasing more! For $29 vs $98+ lulu leggings, these can't be beat. They're not my personal perfect legging, but absolutely no complaints! Colorfulkoala, if you're listening... please make these in the "We are from space nimbus battleship" pattern from lululemon, a white/gray camouflage, a blue camouflage, a blue snakeskin, and black and white stripes like lululemon "quiet stripe". ... show more

  • Hold up so good over time
LOVED before and during the beginning of my pregnancy. Super stretchy and comfortable but not sheer at all for me! I’ve bought a few more pairs since this one. Had them over a year now and they still are so good! - I only let my active wear air dry!

  • Love these!
I love these!!!! I’m a barre teacher and personal trainer. These leggings have been a great addition to the “rotation!” I can wear them and not have to worry about them being too sheer when I squat or bend over. Excellent!!

  • GET THESE NOW
These are really comfortable and soft and most importantly, they don’t feel like they are cutting me in half when I sit down. Skip the more expensive brands and yes I have spent over $100 on 1 pair of leggings, not anymore.
