Product Care Instructions: Or, Delicate Machine Wash - Place silk inside a delicate wash bag, add some silk-friendly detergent and select a "delicate" cycle not exceeding 86°F (30°C) water temp. Lastly, lay flat to dry., Hand Wash (preferred) - First, fill a clean sink or tub with cold water, add some silk-friendly detergent, soak silk for 5 mins, swish silk around softly and then rinse well with cold water. Squeeze excess water. Avoid wringing out. Lastly, lay flat to dry on a towel to soak up excess moisture.

I’m getting ready to purchase another set of sheets from Colorado Home and was reading the reviews again. What in the world are y’all doing to your silk sheets for them to tear up like that? I’ve had mine for a few years now and not a single rip or shred; just a wrinkles from use. Silk requires special care. You need to use a gentle detergent! The detergent must NOT have protease, enzymes, alcohol, bleach, or any alkalines in. wash in a washing machine with COLD water on a delicate cycle or wash by hand (preferred method). Silk sheets are AIR DRY ONLY; No Heat (or sun)! This isn’t my first purchase from Colorado home. I bought their pillowcases previously and love them so much, and they have held up perfectly with multiple washes with mild detergent and hanging to dry. It took me a few nights sleeping on the sheet to figure out how not to slide around lol but after that, it’s just one of the most luxurious sleeping experiences, I highly recommend. ... show more

I'm still loving the sheets more than a year later and they are holding up amazingly. I didn't realize how much tougher this stuff was than the cotton crap I was buying. The coolness to the touch really helps me for whatever reason. Thinking about this as a gift for my dad too. Worth the money.

These silk sheets which I paid over $500 for and got two of has already tore. I’m very disappointed as I thought real silk could stretch 5x and is more resilient then other materials.

I purchased these sheets as an anniversary gift for myself and my spouse. They're absolutely luxurious to sleep in, especially on those summer nights that are especially hot and humid, especially if you're one of those folks that still need to be covered in something to sleep well. Since we've only owned them for a little while, the jury is still out on their durability and how they hold up over time. This is a key feature, in my opinion, given the rather steep price. If we experience an issue, I'll be sure to update this review. The only down side to these sheets (and it's actually a little comical) is that they're so smooth, they're actually slippery...which is to say, if you are a restless sleeper, don't be surprised if you wake up to all of your bedclothes on the floor! ... show more

So this is silk. As someone who has 200 dollar sheets I can say this is a really lux step up. Truly beautiful and like sleeping in between well silk. It really a big luxurious difference. I will say for a 600 dollar set of sheets I’m discouraged to see that the company with its beautiful packaging and silk swath for the burn test is cutting costs on zippered pillow cases. It is advertised as zipper cases but it came as envelope pocket. Now no issues with the envelope pocket after a couple nights, but if u but just a pillow case from the same seller and company it comes with a zipper. So ideally I should get two more pillow cases with zippers, because that is what I paid for. So I am hung up on that. Especially since pure silk alarmist always comes with zippered pillow cases Update two months in my 600 dollar fitted sheets have tears in them less than 4 weeks of use. They held up just long enough to not be returned. I’m going to try and patch them. As they are delightful ... show more

I have done a lot of research on Mulberry, it is very beneficial to those with sensitive skin and scalp due to it naturally producing glycerin. These were THE BEST value for the money, granted $299 (what I paid) is still expensive, they are worth every penny! softest sheets I have ever had, I sleep like a baby and they are so soft! just be careful with snagging, mine have not snagged, but always make sure rough nails or skin is filed, and I wear soft 100% socks to bed to prevent toe nail snags. One note for care, get the GIANT garment bags they offer on here, I bought two, one for the flat sheet, one for the fitted and we had small garment bags and I throw there pillow cases in there. You don't want to wash silk a whole lot, honestly, they smell just like day one after a month, you only want to wash them once every three weeks to once a month. I would also recommend the LeBlanc hypo-allergenic detergent, fragrance free, (also on Amazon) great value, and it works great! ... show more

I always thought silk was over rated, but as a guy that gets hot pretty easy while sleeping this has been extremely nice. I'd never used silk before, and I'll say this helps me sleep rather comfortably, both in summer and in winter. I used to wake up hot and sweaty, especially my head, even with one of those fancy pillows that breath so your head doesn't get hot, with the pillow cases from this set I do not have that issue at all. It's expensive, but in my opinion, totally worth it. I've had this for several months now and have had no quality issues. ... show more

Update: the company contacted me and offered me a refund minus the restock fee which they did help with an amazon credit. Though I was completely disappointed in sheets, they backed their guarantee. Original review: I was excited to get these sheets. when they arrived they are beautifully packaged and looked amazing. I carefully hand washed them before using and put them on my bed excited for such beautiful sheets. Then instead of good sleep, nightmare symptoms began. I had such a hard time sleeping because I was waking up with swollen feet and hands and just the feeling that something was off. It got worse when I started getting swollen joints. I tried to sleep on these for a week and then realized that it was the sheets making me feel sick. I know that many textiles made in China are sprayed with formaldehyde and other harmful chemicals after now looking into it further. I am sad to say as beautiful as these sheets look, seems they can make a person sick. There needs to be more safeguards from harmful chemicals, especially textiles manufactured in China. I truly hope this company will look into the place they get these manufactured from. I will be asking for a refund for such expensive sheets. ... show more
