The wood isn't as thick as one might like and its a tad more wobbly/flimsy than you might expect (when picking it up and moving it) (is sturdy enough when stationary) Went together easy enough, instructions weren't to bad you just really have to pay attention. I redid my home office recently after starting a new career. This desk is seeing lots of daily use and it fits and performs perfectly. The low price point made me worry it was going to be flimsy and not hold up. Definitely does. I added some LED lighting (not included) and it holds my work laptop plus two monitors as well as my personal desktop PC and monitor perfectly. Take your time to assemble and you'll be fine. The directions aren't confusing but it's easy to goof up something and reverse a piece. This will simply require you to take a step back and flip something around correctly (yes, I did it once). This product looks nice and works well, but was quite annoying to put together. Also, the desk was not as wide as I expected. The space for your computer to sit has a screw sticking out when it's finished, possibly making it difficult to place a computer flat on this surface. The "Q" and "R" pieces were VERY difficult to place and they still did not want to fit perfectly (the picture with the two bars crossing). ... show more
