  • Works perfect, holds the water, sturdy and easy to setup
I'm new to the whole ice bath thing; I actually had wanted to try it for a while and when I saw a tub similar to this at one of my customers house he talked me into it. So I ordered this one; I have to say mine doesn't quite look as "perfect" as the one in the picture. It comes as a pile of vinyl in an air mattress-sized box that you insert plastic legs into and then inflate the top ring. It comes with a foot pump for you to be able to inflate, which is nice. I was originally going to put it outside on my lanai. However, my wife suggested trying to put it into a bathroom shower that we don't actually use, and it fit fairly perfectly in there. It's honestly nice having it in the house because now, instead of having seasonal issues of how to get the water cold or colder, I have the same issue each day year-round. I'm still trying to optimize the amount of ice necessary, but I absolutely love the cold plunges and have been starting each day out with a 6-minute plunge. Great product for the money! ... show more

  • Large capacity, sturdy, but minor dripping at the spigot
I tested the unit I received in a shower stall as well as a Jacuzzi tub. Because it’s winter, I wanted to test it as a hot tub indoors to see its effect on stiff muscles. In the end I realized that placing it in the shower was not a good idea because there’s no way to drain the water when the tub’s vinyl bottom seals the shower basin’s drain hole. Consequently I had to lift half the tub up and down just to allow water to drain in the shower. Not sure how much muscle relaxation I achieved but I’m sure I exerted myself quite a bit by lifting at least 20 gallons of water up and down to unseal the shower drain hole so water did not overflow. What I found was: 1. The structure is solid for containing water and an adult. 2. For a shorter person, getting in and out may be a challenge because of the high rim. 3. Scrubbing with soap and warm water is a must after each use, which could be a pain if you cannot leave it in the shower. 4. The drainage valve must be securely tightened before filling. My unit was leaking at the spigot because I didn’t realize that it was not totally tightened at the factory. After I tightened it as much as possible, the leak went away. I then placed it in the Jacuzzi tub and tested again with a depth about 4 inches of water. This time it has a very slow dripping action over two hours which wet a single paper towel but not soaked it. This tells me that keeping the water for several uses is not practical. I can’t say that every unit will be like this, but if you can deal with a very slow dripping then this is a very good product for soaking, hot or cold. ... show more

  • Nice ice bath
This seems like a really good tub for doing ice bath. It is big enough that a grown man can fit in it, my husband is 5’11” and fits perfectly fine. It seems pretty durable, however, I would not be dragging it around constantly because it does seem like it could get a hole and rip in it if you’re constantly messing with it. It does fold up if you need to drain it and store it. It’s very easy to set up. It only took about 10 minutes or so. It also comes with a cover so that’s very handy. It does have a drain however you don’t have to drain it every time you use it is kind of high so if you’re very short, you might have trouble getting in and out. It’s a really nice option if you don’t want to have to spend lots of money on a cold plunge bath It’s a good value ... show more

  • Great for cold plunges
I got this for my father-in-law who has been wanting to try doing cold plunges. It was easy to set up and use. He has space to store it in his garage, so he won't be breaking it down and setting it up every time. He is a smaller man, but he fit in the tub with space to spare. I think this is reasonably priced if you want to try cold plunges and see if the practice is for you. I like that it can be used with either hot or cold water and that there is a cover to keep the inside clean. ... show more

  • I'm giving it 5 stars because it's everything it advertised
This was easy to inflate with the foot pump that was included. It has side supports that make it very sturdy. I've only used it once and I probably will never do it again. I read some of the other reviewers and they must be made out of sturdier stock than me. If you want to give it a try, it is a nice easy setup, but dang it is very cold. I love cold weather, but I'm not a fan of cold therapy bathing. ... show more

  • Diving into the Cold Plunge Tub
I like that this bath can be used for hot or cold soaks, though I have only recently started using it for cold as I've ready numerous benefits about this type of therapy. I have noticed that my mornings are much better when I do, and due to the high build quality, I will hopefully be able to rely on this cold plunge tub for many years to come. It does take a bit of time to set up, but this has not been an issue for me so far and I still appreciate how great it is for my morning cold plunges. It can be a bit difficult to store, but I leave it set up, so it hasn't been an issue for me. Still, if you need to take it down, be aware that you may want to keep it in a shed or someplace similar with ample space. Last thing to note is that I am pretty large and I can still fit, so I wouldn't worry about the sizing as it should fit well for most people. ... show more

  • Dang it's Cold
This is a real mental challenge for me. With a real struggle getting in (due to the cold water) once I am in it it's a very nice therapy. The tub is spacious, as these tubs go, and tall enough not to have to bend over to get full use. I like the cover and the build of the tub. Setting up is simple. Good drainage. I to like the cover but we don't keep the same water for long periods of time. The cover is nice in order to keep dirt out between uses. This is easily drained and folding up is simple. The folded tub takes very little space. Highly Recommend the tub - not sure about recommending those first few seconds getting in the water. The cold therapy is very helpful for my wife and I. ... show more

  • XL Tub
This is a very large tub. I think it holds around 105 gallons. Very easy to set up, took me about 10 minutes to finish. You can feel the quality of the material right away. Keeps the water colder longer. Easy to break down as well, if you need to transport it anywhere. Very nice cold tub.
