I needed a cup that had a flip top because I hate how slide top cups are impossible to clean. I live in South Carolina and the heat get unbearable in the summer. So I love having many of these around for water and other drinks. The ice cubes hardly melt and the beverages stay cold. I leave on on my nightstand at night and wake up to ice cold water with ice cubes still there! It's awesome! I have used the high end cups and these hold up just as well, if not better! These cups are perfect! I threw a pool party & wanted to give my guests an easy way to keep their drinks cold for hours. Also, I thought they would make a nice party favor to take home. (They're such a great price when you buy in bulk.) I put a puffy sticker initial on each one for each guest. (Super easy to remove later.) These cups were a huge hit!! They are big enough to fill once and last for hours! ( No running back inside for constant refills.) 🙄 The cups look nice. They seem to be well made and very sturdy. The lids are tight and seal well. I bought long, plastic, reusable straws to use with them and they held in the sip slot perfectly. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase!! There were two guests that didn't make it to the party, so I was able to keep the extras for myself!! 😁 I went to Michael's a few days later and saw similar cups that were smaller for $10:00 each!!     • WORKS REASONABLY WELL
This is a pretty good cup for keeping tea warm longer than a regular mug. But for the liquid to be scalding hot after 3 hours is only marginally possible. This is a MUG not an old-school work or lunch thermos - which means that you will be sipping the liquid almost as soon as the mug is filled. You can’t drink it at all until the liquid cools down a bit. I found that my tea stays very warm for about an hour, no more, starting from scalding hot, including 4-5 minute brewing times. Your drink stays warm for about 3 hours max. But that’s pretty good. Now the mug does a little better with cold liquid but you have to add a few ice cubes. Which isn’t really feasible in such a small mug. That said, this item certainly does help your drinks retain temps much better than a regular mug without a top. Overall I am very satisfied with this item. In fact, I bought another for my daughter, an on-the-go working mother! ... show more

Really nice tumbler for my morning travel ice tea's. I recently cut lattes' out of my routine they (increase weight gain). I also enjoy my tea's extremely cold and this tumbler does the job! These cups do a fantastic job of keeping the content cold while still keeping a good amount of ice. I have not used them for warm/ hot beverage as I purchased them for cold use primarily.
