  • Used on metal roof
Size: 25 Foot (Pack of 1)
Works great as long as what you are applying it to is not cold. It will not stick to anything cold. I used a hair dryer in the colder weather to make it stick to the inside barn roof where there were cracks and holes. Hopefully it will stay stuck under the ceiling. Time will tell. My only gripe is the weather has to be hotter to work as it should. ... show more

  • Great product, has held up very well to strong rains!
Size: 25 Foot (Pack of 1)
I purchased this to patch some holes that had rusted through some old down spouts and attached piping. At some point I plan to replace the entire system, but for the time being wanted a temporary fix for the water that was leaking through the holes and creating puddles around the house. It's only been a few weeks but thus far the patches have held up really well. There is no water whatsoever leaking from the holes that used to exist (ranging as large as a nickel in size) during some of the strong downpours we've had recently. I sanded down the paint and rust around the holes and then cut a piece of this for both the exterior and interior (where I could reach). It was a fairly simple process. I only give four stars because the backing and tape tend to separate easily, even just unrolling the product. It doesn't seem to affect the adhesive but does make it more difficult to cut to size. ... show more

  • Drips, no matter how you install it.
Size: 25 Foot (Pack of 1)
I used this on the metal roof of a container, a surface identical to any metal roof. It turned a solid drip into a steady drip, does NOT eliminate leaks entirely on metal. It went on beautifully. I used a roller to apply it perfectly. It formed to the roof with such perfection, I was impressed how it compressed easily and the edges were nice and sealed ... it looked so good, I was so confident of the adhesion, I was excited ... wondered why I hadn't found it before! I layered it as instructed, overlaid it as instructed, applied it as instructed. I did the prep for hours to be sure it was perfect, cleaned it of every possible contaminant that might impair adhesion or encumber sealing. I used a grinder to effectively "sand" the metal as you might wood, to give it a nice clean surface to bond to. I ended up with a smooth, and easy surface to apply to and, even applied it within the temperature range instructed. I was so happy I had found the perfect solution, I went to bed finally happy I had solved the problem! THEN ... came a heavy rain. I woke up, walked inside the container, ready to say, "HA! Take that rain! I WIN!" .... and I had to put a bucket under the patch to catch the drips. Make a long story short ... no matter what you do with this product, it does not work on metal. I patched 6 different areas the same way (took almost 3 hours to prep, clean, dry, prep and apply) ... 5 of the 6 leaked. It's SO FRUSTRATING to WASTE your time on something ... time you will never get back. Now I have to start all over with something else ... SO disappointing and time consuming. I REALLY had hope in this product ... was disappointed. I hate to write bad reviews as most of them are just people with an ax to grind ... but this is just a factual account of profound disappointment. ... show more

  • Worked Great on Shed Roof
Size: 25 Foot (Pack of 1)
Our old metal tool shed was leaking from the roof in a couple of places. I found the holes and taped them over in the Fall. We had a big rainstorm in Dec. and the tape held great. No leaks, no problems. Easy to use and adheres great.

  • It Works
Size: 25 Foot (Pack of 1)
It works but I'm not sure of its longevity. I applied it on my shingled roof which had a small leak. The insurance inspector said that I have a small crack on my chimney which caused the rain to trickle down inside. So I applied this around the chimney hoping that would take care of any leak. After a week long heavy rain, there was no leak at all. I just hope it would last, but I'm ordering another roll and patched it some more. ... show more

  • Great price/Great product
Size: 25 Foot (Pack of 1)
Been a product I've used off and on for years. I had a tree limb fall on the aluminum carport during a hurricane and originally used this as a temporary fix. That was years ago and it's still holding up fine in the hot So. Fl sun. I've patched motorhome and trailer roofs with no problems also. For the price you can't go wrong. ... show more
