This looks nice and I think my son will like it (It’s a gift so he hasn’t seen it yet). However, the wood is rough and feels like I’m going to get a splinter when I run my hand along it. I had really thought it was going to be an actual bat cut in half, but it’s just a cheap piece of wood that is shaped like half a bat. I probably could’ve made this myself for a lot less. **Update-after posting my initial review the company reached out to apologize for my displeasure and to assure me that the bat was in fact a real bat. Today, out of the blue, I received a kind card from the company and a replacement bat. The newer bat is of much better quality and a darker color. I am very pleased with the way this company handles customer service! The newer bat does not have laquer on it, so it doesn’t look exactly like a bat you’d get in the store, but it looks real and it’s perfect for hanging my son’s hats and coats on! This was a great addition to my sons room. The hooks were a little rough on the clothes so I bought some foam popper balls and inserted them over the end of the hook. This is a cute hack rack for my sons bedroom but it's honestly to expensive for what it is. Came in a nice canvas bag and the product was wrapped completely, but somehow it still got scratched up. It did come with hardware to hang it so that was nice.
