  • Did the Job
Delivery was quick, came well protected and did a great job. Inserts are very easy to rotate.

  • Replaceable cutterz!!
Strong sturdy shank, with well tapped holes for the carbide, and a nice finish for anti-rust prevention. So far this tool has stood up to everything I’ve thrown at it so far! Not the fanciest one on earth, but it does the job, so I recommend it!!

  • Great far the price

  • Plains wood beautifully!
This has been excellent for my cnc! An awesome way to flatten and plain my slab cuts! - Clean and effective and can really move so material! I still find the need to sand from faint tool mark lines, but that’s been the same with any other router or surfacing, but it leave a clean and evenly plained finish! Feels well made with replaceable blades - Would totally get this again! 10/10 a winner! ... show more

  • The blades aren't straight.
There's room for the blades to rotate slightly, and only the screw keeps them straight-ish. Because of this, when you screw them in they're not aligned and they won't flatten wood. You get a slightly wavy surface.

  • Love it! Clean cut & great coverage
The media could not be loaded. I'm super happy with this resurfacing bit. I love any bits with removable/replaceable blades because they are cheaper to maintain over time. I only resurface every couple of months so the blades here should last me quite a while. The bit comes with a screw key, two extra blade screws, and a carrying case. Like many CNC router bits, this bit comes encased in a plastic coating that needs to be peeled off before use, so don't be alarmed if you haven't seen this before. Everything worked fine for me right out of the box. There's really no adjustment needed since the blades can really only be in one position. I included before/after images of my wasteboard to demonstrate how effective it is. It cut incredibly clean. My cut depth was set to 1/32 (.03125) inch and it took me two passes to clean up my wasteboard to where I wanted it (I didn't chase the few very deep gouges). I'm incredibly impressed with this flattening bit and would highly recommend it for any CNC user needing to do regular wasteboard resurfacing. (I'm using a Shapeoko CNC.) ... show more

  • Worked well to make 3/8" x ½" rabbet in whitewood
I have not needed to change/rotate the cutting faces yet. The cut quality was very good/smooth.

  • Out of balance
Thought it was going to tear the bearings out of my router. And I tried it in three different routers, same thing. Went right in the garbage.
