I so wanted to love these puffs. They were for my 8 year old daughter’s scary clown costume. Costume was great. She’s a blonde so I purchased some black hairspray & made our ponytails which I braided down & twisted into buns. Pinned those down & attaches the first poof without problem. It adhered to her bun & I tightened it down & tucked the extra string underneath. Tried to repeat the process & the 2nd one would not hold as the mechanism that held the string taught was broken. I attempted to pin it to her head as best as I could, albeit unsuccessfully. She had to take them off before her 2nd period class that day. If I’d had more notice I could’ve curled her hair myself. Major bummer!!! I was stressed as heck & my little clown was very unhappy... ... show more
