This unit is perfect for creating storage inside closets. Took me about 10 mins to assemble, tops and I didn't need the hammer they supplied. They key was hearing that "click" before adding the next shelf. Very functional and so far, is working great. I really like that I can add additional units if I ever need to expand the number of shelves I need. My only criticism is that I used the sizing mentioned in the product description, but this does not include an additional 1-1.5 inch width due to the round clips and the unit very nearly did not fit in the space got it for, which would've been massively annoying. ... show more

I really like these wire cubes but they are a bear to put together. One needs lots of patience to put them together. That or lots of time so you can walk away from time to time. I’m glad I stuck with it though because they will work perfectly in my closet. Update: the cubes are great. The system by which they are assembled isn’t!! Those darn connectors!!! They are hard to deal with. Whether putting the cubes together or just putting something in the cubes, those blasted connectors can just pop off. Then you have the clothes you put in the cubes all over the floor because what made the panel turn into a cube just pops off! Little zip ties came with them. Now I know why. Would be nice if I’d known that. But zip ties do just so much with something like this. The engineering of this storage system leaves a lot to be desired. I came back here to let you know what I’m experiencing with these wire cubes. There’s gotta be a better way. ... show more

Total nightmare to put together. It seems simple in theory, but it is a huge pain. Also, the instructions are totally useless. I haven’t put anything on it yet, but it doesn’t seem very sturdy because one of the good pieces snapped while I was trying to put it together.

I have used wire cube storage for 30 years. I needed more. I bought these and they are NOT like the other wire storage units. My h more thin and less robust than previouse wire cubes I have bought, including ones from last year. I'm not happy that I cannot use these my existing wire cube system, but I have an area that they can be used as a stand alone system so that is what makes them functional and since these will be used to sort sewing material, they seem adequate for that type of weight. Probably 8-15 lbs each cube. A nice bonus is this system had "foot pegs" which elevate the unit up about 2" ... show more
